When time froze

Chapter 8

"Did you do it" I asked Emma.

"What killed skylar no" she said to me.

"Then who did."

"It was not my fault you need to know that.....huh." she stopped and looked at her bracelet and skylars. They where really good friends before this and so where me and Emma and most of the group. look what happened to us.

"What did you do to her like how did you do it" I asked.

"I did not do it I said that" Emma said in a mean tone of voice.

"Ya but every one here in this cave listens to your command no mater what" I said back in a rude tone of voice.

"You think I told them to" she sat down in a wooden chair and put her hands on her head and started to cry then she said "listen I told no one to hurt her I-it's just that she started to
r-run out the front and
s-someone shot her I-in the leg and we could not save her after the Bears g-got to her first."

She began to cry some more and then I said "do you know who did it." she looked up with a red face and shook her head yes. "Well who was it" I asked.

She silently whispers to herself "jake." that makes sense I thought to myself, I mean he has always hated skylar from the start, well he has hated everyone from the start. her men came in after she said that and they asked "should we take her now."

She flicked her hand away and then they grabbed my arms and took me back to the place we where at before then chained me up. it was silent all night for the group and most of us would not sleep because of the dirt, wolfs howling, and the thought of skylars death.

But Erin and havana where sound asleep. Leslie and Cody where talking about something and Delilah was in shock so she did nothing but twitch and stare at the ground. then there was carl who I think took this the hardest. I moved over to carl and said "hey you ok?"

"What do you think" he said back in a mean tone "skylar just died and my brother is Emma's boy toy" there was a pause of silence for a few minutes then he sighed in sadness and then said "I still remember the last thing my brother said to me before Emma came to attack."

"What did he say?" I asked.
