When time froze

Chapter 4

She looked around the camp some more and I could feel my feet turning numb because of staying in the same position for a while. she turned right at Luke and said "ok listen hot shot you ain't fooling any body here. you obviously haven't learned. I can tell you right now you have 8 people out side the walls, 10 more in the trees and your sweet, precious Aria with 2 other people behind the bush over there."

Then she pointed right at our hiding place and we heard some one load up there gun and I could feel the end of it lightly touch my head. we all put our hands up dropped and our weapons accept for Delilah.

"Put it down" I said angrily.

"No" she said and she just kept her gun pointed at the other group.

"I do what she is saying" the guy said with his gun pointed at her and the other guys still had there guns at our heads.

"Come on Delilah there not worth it. just put it down" Leslie said in a calming voice.

She still did not put it down unlit 2 more guys came over with there guns pointed at her and the she finally put the gun down. we all stood up and the guys lead us the the leader.

"Awwww you guys are real cute thinking you could stop us" Emma said then looked at Luke again. she went up to him and whispered something in his ear.

"Ok so we just need to get some stuff and we will be off" Emma said.

All of her group members went into our food and water storage and took all of it except for 1 gallon of water and three cans of food. when they were loading it onto their horses a gunshot went off and hit Emma in the leg. she fell to the ground and all her monkey butt slaves rushed toward her.

Delilah tripped one of Emma's slaves and stole the gun off of him. she loaded it up and started to shoot at the other group. me and Leslie ran to the bush we were just at and crouched down in front of it. more gun shoots kept going off and I could barely see because I just kept closing and opening my eyes.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see havana and carl grabbing my arm and taking me out of camp. Patrick and Cody got Leslie and we took off along with Delilah and skylar. we jumped over the wall and ran farther into nothingness. I could still hear silent gun shots going off in the back ground and a lot of screaming and yelling to.

We ran and ran and ran closer to the forest so we would be covered and less likely to be found. When we finally got to the forest we sat down at a ice cold tree stump and just relaxed.

"What are we doing here" i said looking at all of them "we need to go back and help them" and then I got up and started to walk back the way we came. I felt some one grab my arm and I turned around then saw carl nodding his head no.

He went and sat back down. I just stood there seeing sadness on everyone's face as the looked at the ground. what are we doing here? I thought to myself also looking at the ground. we should be helping and saving the rest of our group.

We need to be there.
