Chapter 13

Erin's leg was gone. Leslie and Cody disappeared into thin air. Erin looked like a life less body just laying on the ground with blood all over him.

"No no no no no Erin!!" Havana said while going over to him "what do we do. We need to help him." Carl and I just stood there frozen looking at Erin. "Help him!!!" Havana screamed at us.

"What do we do...... I don't know how to help" carl said then he looked at me and said "Aria?." Thats when I realized....they all looked up to me.

"Um...um... we need to stop the bleeding" it was pretty obvious that we needed to do that but I was in hurry to think. "we.... we need burn the cut." carl took out a lighter from his pocket and got a flat piece of metal and started to burn it.

"HURRY!!!!" Havana yelled at him.

"I am going as fast I can" he answered back. When it was finally warmed up we quickly put it up to the leg. Erin did not move a inch he just lied there motion less. he was as white as the clouds. havana kept whispering "it's going to be ok.... it's going to be ok your alright just please please wake up right now" she started to ball out her eyes and Said "please."

She put her head onto his chest and started to cry. we kept the metal on the leg until it stopped bleeding. Erin grunted and moved his head. havana quickly stood up and started to say to him "Erin are you ok."

"Ugh" he answered "I am fine but my leg hurts." she smiled in joy and started to cry tears of joy. he lifted up himself and looked at his leg. his face was so unbelievably surprised he started to breath heavily and said "m-my leg.....what h-happened."

Carl walked over to him and sat down next to him then said "you don't remember what happened to you."

"No..... no all I remember is the wolfs coming back a-and Leslie and Cody where fighting them off well at least trying to. I just stayed on he ground and then I blacked out."

Carl and I looked at each other and then carl looked back at Erin and said "ok we should get to shelter..... it's getting dark."

"The town has shelter. we could go there. i Remember it from the last time we went there. it's not that far..... just down the road." I said.

"Ok let's go there" carl said. then havana and carl helped Erin up and we walked/limped to the town down the road. When we got there we went into the first building there was at the begging of the town. "there, this place should do for the night."

We laid Erin down on a bed, there was in the building.

"That should do" carl said while laying him down. I looked around the store and started to walk through the isle. I wondered randomly through the rest of the store. I could hear havana crying from on the other side of the store. I felt bad for her. she really liked Erin. I was walking down one isle and turned to see carl was putting his hands on his head pushing back his hair. he looked disappointed in something.

"Carl are you alright" I said sitting down, on the floor, next to him.

"Ya I am ok just can you please leave me alone" he said not looking at me.

"Why what's wrong?."

He put his hands down and his bangs flowed slowly back into his face. "I liked Leslie. as a friend. when you where blacked out for those two weeks she helped me figure out stuff.....huh I just hope she is safe. she helped me realize my brother was not so bad. Cody is lucky" he said. he seemed like he was about to cry.

He put his hands to his head again and then he stood up and started to Pais back and forth. "oh what if she is gone. what if she got eaten by those wolfs Erin was talking about. god I hope there ok and not hurt" he seemed really worried.

"Carl it's ok" I said standing up.

"You don't know that!!" He yelled at me. then he stopped and walked off.

"What was that about" I heard behind me "what was he so worried about" havana said after I turned around.

"He is worried about Leslie" I answered back.

"And cody" she replied.

"Yes!! Also cody. ha sorry forgot about him."

She Shrugged her shoulders and walked back of to Erin. i sighed and walked over to Erin also. havana layed on the same bed as Erin and I sat at another bed with carl that was just across Erin's bed. havana and Erin fell asleep but carl could not go to sleep. he sat on the edge of the bed, really worried. I scooted next to him.

"Can you go to sleep your waking me up." I said. I get cranky when I can't sleep and is tired.

"No I cant knowing what I did" he said back. he started to cry and I could not tell if he was sleep walking.

"What did you do?" I asked.

He looked at me with tears in his eyes and then took a deep breath in and began to say "huh don't be mad at for this but..... Huh you see-" knock knock!!. We both turned around.
