When time froze

Chapter 14

We turned around at the door. I stood up and was going to walk to it but Carl grabbed my arm and pulled me back down to the bed. "what" I asked while sitting back down.

"That could be anyone. don't answer it" he said in a frustrating tone.

"Ya well that could be Cody or your brother" I said. he shook his head "it could be Leslie" then he looked at me and had a weak smile.

He looked at the door "cody and Leslie are dead." His weak smile turned into a frown. then I looked at the door again and him and I watched it for a little, then we saw a Shadow through the window next to the door. it was to dark to see who it was but we could tell they were looking through it. Carl grabbed my arm once again and pulled me to the ground.

"There watching us" he said as we crouched down behind the side of the bed.

"What about Havana and Erin?" I said. he looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. "Seriously that's it is just a shrug from your shoulders."

"Well what are we going to do Aria. we can't get them. that person will see us" he said.

"Fine I will do things myself. like always" I said looking at him. I started to walk over to the bed hoping that person won't see me. I stay on my knees and kept the position of crouching down while crossing over the bed.

"Aria what are you doing. get back here, that person could see you" he said.

I just ignored him till I got to Havana and Erin's bed. I went behind the edge of it and peaked over the edge at Havana and Erin laying on it. I stood up just enough to shake them and say "Havana.....Erin..... wake up." they just kept snoring and stayed asleep. I shook them one more time. "Havana, Erin.... wake up." Erin was as white as the sheets, I could barley tell If I was shaking Erin or the sheet. "Havana!!!... Erin!!!" I whispered loudly and kept shaking them.

"Come on, Aria there not waking up" carl said "they can deal on there own. now get back here before we get shot or something."

"Shut up carl" i whispered loudly again "I am not letting them get shot by who ever that could be..... or even if they are going to shoot us." I shook them one more time. "Havana, Erin WAKE UP!!" I accidentally screamed at them.

"You stupid bitch" carl said quietly to himself in a disappointed voice, after a little silence by my yelling.

"Shut up carl i did not mean to yell" I whispered to him, then I cover my mouth with my hands. After that Havana slowly woke up.

"W-what's going on?" she said in a tried voice while slowly opening her eyes.

"Hey Aria why don't u just scream it to her" Carl loudly whispered to me.

"Fuck you Carl" I said in my normal voice while looking at him. Havana sat up and rubbed her eyes.

"W-what happened."

"Um...nothing" I said looking at her. knock knock knock!!! We heard again on the door.

"W-who is t-that" she asked.

"Does not matter we need to go" Carl said standing up. he looked at us worried "right now."

Havana got out of bed and we started to walk over to the window on the other side of the dusty store. "Wait" Havana said behind us.

"What now" Carl said turning around.

"I am not leaving without Erin" Havana said as we all finished turning around.

"Well we can't carry him and if he is not going to wake up soon, he is not coming with us."

"Well I am not leaving without him" Havana replied.

"Holy crap seriously" Carl said in a angered tone. then he walked over to havana and said "listen we don't have the time to talk about this.... we need to leave now."

"No" she said with cleverness in her brown eyes.

Carl looked straight into her eye. and she looked back into his blue eyes. Carl was getting pissed off and you could tell.

"Then stay here" he said with a death tone of voice. She looked surprised and stepped back.

"Fine" she answered holding in her sadness that he would actually leave her. she walked over to Erin and sat on the bed. Carl walked past me a little bit I grabbed his arm and he stopped.

"We are not leaving her" I said not looking at him. he ripped his arm away and out of my hand. he looked at me straight in the eye "fine you can stay with her here."

But the thing is... I couldn't. I thought to myself. I haven't said this yet but I was trying to find my parents and my older sister. I was at Havanas house once this happened. She just lived 2 blocks away when this happened. we went to Carl's house witch was down the street from her house when we found out her mom froze.

Carl was the only person I told, that I was looking for my parents. my parents were not at my house when it happened and I still have not found them yet. Carl has been so far helping me.

"Carl" I whispered to him. He turned around and looked at me.

"Your strong... you can find your parents yourself" he said. seriously, I thought to myself. I wanted to stay with Havana and Erin but I had to find my parents. I followed him to the window. when Carl was climbing out the window, I looked over at Havana and Erin. Havana had a disappointed look on her face as she held Erin's hand tightly.

Carl got out the window and he yelled at me from the other side of the window "are you coming?."

"Ya" I said looking at havana. she looked at Erin and I looked out the window at Carl "yes I am coming." I climbed out the window and we walked onto the dirt road again.
