"You really need to be more careful General." Cody chided, handing the Jedi his lightsaber. Upon returning to the star ship the jedi realized he'd lost his lightsaber and the whole of the 212th were scrambling around the ship looking for it. Cody finally found it in the hanger bay where they'd landed the gunships. "This is your weapon! What if you'd lost it on Geonosis? Then I'd have to go all the way back to look for it!"

"Alright Cody, I'm sorry to put you through that much trouble." The Jedi said laughing, taking the 'saber from the distraught clone. The Jedi was sitting in the medbay of the ship, recovering when the clone had burst in, exclaiming he'd found the lightsaber. "I'm glad you found it."

Cody nodded and smiled at the Jedi. He had his helmet off for once and the Jedi took the time to admire his face. He didn't see all clones as looking alike, each was unique and Cody was no different, both with the scar adorning his features and his personality. He found himself always wanting to hold conversations with the clone just to enjoy being near him. He knew it was against the code to become attached, he'd warned Anakin of it enough times, but still, something just always drew him towards the Marshal Commander.

"I should leave you to rest up then General." Cody said, starling Obi Wan out of his thoughts of the clone. He longed to tell Cody to stay, to never leave, however he couldn't, wouldn't ask that of the clone.

"Alright then, I suppose I'll see you later then Cody." Obi Wan said as the clone nodded.

"Of course General." Cody replied before turning and leaving. What neither of them knew was the that they were both wishing the other had asked to stay.

Cody sat, staring absent minded at the papers on the desk before him. He wasn't really sure what time it was or how many cups of coffee he'd already drank. He was exhausted but needed to get his work done. With a sigh he stood and grabbed his cup, walking towards the ship's mess hall to pour himself another cup, or five, of the drink to help keep himself awake for a while more.

As he walked he realized most of the lights were dimmed down on the ship, meaning it was very late at night and all of his men would be asleep. He sighed, knowing this was going to be yet another sleepless night for him as he tried to finish his work. He entered the mess hall and made his way over to the coffee machine.

"Hello there Cody, I didn't think anyone would still be awake at this hour." Cody jumped and nearly spilled the drink he had poured. Damn Jedi for being so silent he thought as he turned to face the Jedi.

"General, I wasn't expecting anyone to be awake either." He looked the Jedi over, he was still bruised up, but still looked as good as ever.

"Cody how many of those have you had?" The Jedi asked, looking at the drink in his hand.

"Uh..maybe 10 General?" Cody replied, thinking back. He'd started working just after lunch so about that many.

"Cody you look exhausted."

"I'm fine General."

"Nonsense, you're going to bed now." The Jedi said, using the force to place the cup on the counter before grabbing Cody's arm and pulling him towards the clone's quarters. As Marshal Commander, highest ranking clone in the GAR, he had his own private quarters. Cody blushed at the contact and was glad the lights were dark enough the Jedi wouldn't notice the red tinge to his cheeks.

Soon they stood outside the clones quarters and the Jedi turned to him with a small smile "Now you better go to bed, I don't want have to put you in bed." Cody slightly wished he would as he nodded to the Jedi and walked into his quarters and going to sleep. That night the only thing he could dream about was Obi Wan and his dazzling smile.
