I'll Be There For You [ Book 1 ]

Chapter 8

"This entire village looks deserted, all the houses were unlocked except this one." Anakin said as Obi Wan and Cody approached.

"Hmm that is strange.." Obi Wan said calmly, stroking his beard in thought.

"We should break in and see what's going on." Ahsoka suggested and Anakin grinned.

"Anakin..I know that look, whatever your thinking..." Obi Wan didn't get to finish his thought as the younger jedi kicked in the door to the home and walked inside, his apprentice following suit.

"Relax babe, it can easily be fixed." Cody whispered in Obi Wan's ear, giving the jedi a smack on the ass as he walked past into the house, payback for earlier. The jedi's face flushed red as he stared in shock after the Marshal Commander.

"Master you coming?" Ahsoka called from inside as Obi Wan shook out of his shocked flustered state and followed them into the building.

The jedi looked around the building. It was a simple home, no different from the others in the town, yet something felt...off about the place.

"Freeze!" A voice yelled from behind as the small group turned to see a Felucian farmer standing behind them, a pitchfork raised towards them. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm terribly sorry my good man but our ship crash landed here and we were merely looking for a way off your planet." Obi Wan explained calmly.

"So you thought breaking into my house would get you a ship?" The farmer asked as he lowered his make shift weapon.

"Again, terribly sorry about that, but this place seemed deserted."

"We've been having trouble with pirates, demanding our crops, so we've had to hire bounty hunters to protect us. We're all in hiding as the pirates are due any moment." The farmer explained, leading the small group out to a giant barn where the rest of the towns' folk could be seen along with the hired bounty hunters.

"Do you guys happen to have a ship we could use?" Ahsoka asked as the farmers shook their heads.

"The only ship here is mine, and you're not using it." The lead bounty hunter said, walking forwards.

"But we have to get back." Ahsoka pleaded. The bounty hunter sighed and grinned.

"You want to get back, you help."

"Remind me again how we got roped into this." Obi Wan said quietly as he finished helping his boyfriend set up a small perimeter.

"Aw it isn't that bad general." Cody replied with a small laugh.

"Well there is one thing that could make it better." The jedi mused. The clone raised a brow and turned to look at him.

"And that is?"

"This." The jedi moved and captured the clones lips against his as he pinned the commander against a wall. Cody wrapped his arms around Obi Wan's shoulders, pulling him closer as he parted his lips slightly for him.

"Master?" Anakin called from nearby, causing the two males to quickly split apart.

"Here. just finishing up this section." Obi Wan called back.

"Okay, come meet up with us, we're done with our part." Anakin called back before walking away. Cody sighed. Obi Wan kissed him again briefly before handing him his helmet.

"Don't worry, we'll be picking up where we left off once we're back on the Cruiser." The jedi said with a wink before walking off, leaving the clone to blush red at the suggestive promise.
