Chapter 6

"We shouldn't be doing this."

"Against the rules."

"Against my Jedi code."

But neither of them cared as they broke apart from another kiss. Cody rested his forehead against Obi Wan's and was happy when the Jedi didn't pull away.

"What are we going to do?" The clone asked softly as the Jedi sighed.

"Cody-"

"No, don't tell me if it's something I won't want to hear."

"Cody I was just going to say we can try to make this work." The Jedi replied with a small laugh as the clone beamed with happiness.

"Really?" He asked hopefully.

"Really." The other male replied, pulling him into another soft kiss.

"So you think we can keep this a secret?" Cody asked once they'd pulled apart.

"Well Anakin is obvious as all hell and the council still hasn't found out. We're fine." Obi Wan replied with a laugh, Cody joining in to laugh as well. Obi Wan smiled and kissed the clone's cheek. "Now it's late so go to bed Cody."

"Yes general." Cody replied mockingly, making them both laugh again. Cody smiled brightly at the Jedi before going off to his bed. Obi Wan watched him walk away before heading to his own bed.

"So master, you and the Duchess seemed pretty close on that last mission." Anakin joked as he walked beside Obi Wan, their clone Captain and Commander following a little ways behind the Jedi.

"Anakin stop this foolishness." Obi Wan chided, sighing as he looked over at the dark haired male beside him.

"Come on master, you two had some obvious chemistry." Anakin replied with a small grin, unknowing of the jealous clone glaring at his back. "Come on guys back me up here." He turned to look at the two clones.

"Uh General, that's not really any of our business sir." Rex replied.

"I didn't see anything between them sir." Cody replied, making Obi Wan silently laugh at how jealous his clone was sounding to him.

"Oh come on, you guys are supposed to take my side." Anakin whined, pouting as he looked away from the clones.

"Take your side on what master?" Ahsoka asked, walking over to the two Jedi.

"Oh don't worry about it Snips." Anakin replied with a sigh.

"Alright, well Master Plo just gave us new orders, looks like we're going out to fight above the planet Felucia."

"Great let's get going then. Race you there Snips!" Anakin said before running off, the Togruta running after him. Rex sighed and walked after them, tired of dealing with a general who was a literal child. Obi Wan laughed and looked over at Cody.

"Well then Cody, ready to go on a mission?"

"You know it love." Cody replied softly before walking off, leaving the stunned and blushing Jedi to follow after him.
