Chapter 10

"What the hell happened to you?" Wolffe asked, watching Cody limp slightly towards the table where Wolffe, Rex, and Bly sat.

"Nothing." Cody replied slowly, wincing slightly as he sat down.

"Nothing my ass, why the hell are you limping?" Wolffe asked, raising a brow as the other commander blushed slightly.

"Nothing happened so just drop it Wolffe."

"If I didn't know better I'd say our Cody got some." Bly commented as he took a sip of his drink making Cody blush darker.

"Oh ho ho really now?" Wolffe asked, grinning maliciously. Cody shook his head.

"Come on who is it?" Bly asked, grinning like an idiot.

"Tell us!" Wolffe demanded, slamming his hand on the table. Cody blushed more and shook his head.

"Oh I can tell you." Rex mumbled quietly. Both Bly and Wolffe instantly turned their attention to the Captain.

"Tell us!" Bly pleaded as Cody shook his head more.

"General Kenobi." Rex replied quietly as Wolffe and Bly gasped in shock.

"YOUR GENERAL?!?!!!" They both screamed as Cody shhed them.

"Be quiet!" He hissed, embarrased. A few other clones glanced their way but since they were used to screaming outbursts from Wolffe, they generally ignored the three Commanders and Captain. "How did you even know?!" He demanded, looking at Rex. Rex gave him a blank faced stare.

"You weren't exactly quiet Cody." Cody blushed darkly.

"Oh force, who else hear?!" He panicked as Rex shrugged.

"I didn't see anybody else around when I heard you...." Rex said as Wolffe and Bly cracked up laughing, making Cody blush even more.

"I hate you guys!" He whined, standing and limping away from them as the two commanders continued to howl with laughter.

"You're looking handsome as ever." Obi Wan said, wrapping his arms around the clone who was looking over some battle reports. Cody blushed and turned around to look at the jedi with a smile.

"I could say the same about you." Obi Wan smiled and kissed the clone gently. "So what's the mission today?" Cody asked once they parted.

"Actually I will be going with Anakin and Ahsoka around the city to try and hunt down a bounty hunter who has some information we could need." Obi Wan explained as Cody nodded.

"Well then maybe when you come back we can have some more fun." Cody suggested with a small grin. Obi Wan smiled sadly.

"Yes of course, I would love that." He kissed the clone lovingly before pulling away again. He turned to leave but looked back at his boyfriend. "I love you Cody."

"I love you too." Cody said with a smile. Obi Wan smiled slightly back.

"I really really love you and just know I will come back okay?" Obi Wan asked slowly as Cody nodded, slightly confused.

"I know you will." Obi Wan nodded and winked at the clone before leaving the room. Cody smiled and watched him leave, feeling some of the happiest he'd felt.

Later that evening Cody was just in his way back from filing paper work when he saw Wolffe and Rex waiting for him, talking in hushed tones. Cody sighed, figuring they were going to mock him again and was looking for a way past them when Rex noticed him. Cody sighed and walked up to them.

"Cody did you hear it yet?" Rex asked slowly as Cody raised a brow.

"Hear what?" He asked, confused.

"Obi Wan is dead."
