He's angry at me.

Is it my fault? He has done so much for me and yet....

My work finish at 1 am. When I was waiting for Grab car, suddenly one car stopped beside me and few guys forcefully pulled me inside.

I was scared as hell seeing the masked men. They brought me inside an abandoned building.

''Welcome, my dear'', I saw Coby inside.

''what are you doing?'', I asked him seriously.

''What I'm doing?'', he laughed crazily. Suddenly he crashed my cheeks as I fell on the ground. ''You dare to hire that bastard? What did he say? You are his?'', he asked me angrily.

Cris said that?

''Guess what'', he smirked as I saw him unbuckle his belt. ''I will see if he still accepts you after I spoil you'', I drag myself backward shockingly.

When he pulled down his pants, I close my face with my palms. ''Cris!!'', I called his name when he was storms towards me.

I heard gunshots around that place. Opening my eyes, I saw Cris standing before me.

''Arrest him'', he instructed the policemen. They arrested Coby and I saw them dragging him out.

Without saying anything, I hugged him from behind while crying. Only he makes me secure. Cris then brought me back to the house. After taking a bath, I walked to Lewis room.

''Good night, baby'', leaning down, I kissed his forehead.

I guess he was still angry with me since he didn't talk anything to me. He's the one who took care of Lewis while I went to work. Maybe I shouldn't trouble him anymore. Since Coby has been arrested, I should go back home, isn't it?

I walked downstairs and found Cris who is drinking wine alone at the counter.

''Cris, umm... thank you for everything'', I spoke. He didn't turn to see me but concentrate on drinking his wine. He must have watched me over since the beginning. That's how he found me. I wonder what will happen to my life without him.

''Since everything is solved now, I think I should go back to my home'', soon after I said it, Cris throws his glass at the wall behind me.

''What's your problem Jane?'', he was stepping towards me as I step back shockingly seeing his furious expression. ''Why are you doing this to me? Now tell me. I need an answer. WHY YOU AVOID ME? WHY YOU DON'T WANT TO APPRECIATE MY COOKING? I thought you will be a happier person seeing me started to cook but I was wrong. And now you going to leave me again? What mistake I did until you hate me so much? Because I started to cook?'', he asked me angrily.

''Because I couldn't be the reason for you to start cooking'', I said while dropping my tears. He was looking at me. ''You quit because of Maya and I thought if I ask you to cook again, you will...'', I smile weakly. ''but NO. I can't be the reason for you to cook again because she will always be your first in everything. I'm nothing Cris'', I told him straight away.

''Now I don't want to do the same mistake by relying on you again'', I shake my head. ''I don't want to get hurt again. Why must you appear in my life last time? Why you did so many things for me that time?'', tears streaming down my cheeks non-stop.

''And guess what. I've decided to not rely on you anymore. Indeed, you helped me this time and I'm really thankful for that. But let us stop here. I have my own life!'', I said boldly as I walk to upstairs.
