JANESSA POV

''Janessa'', Chris called me when I was sweeping the floor.

''Yes?'', I saw him walking down the stairs.

I'm a morning person. So, I woke up early; unlike Marlene and Chris who wake up late. Normally I will clean the house before they wake up. Spotty and Choky who are on the couch (literally I strictly told them to sit on the couch) wagging their tails after seeing Chris.

''Why are you doing this? We can hire maid'', he looked dissatisfied.

''Jeez.... Don't waste your money. This is not a hard job'', shaking my head, I started to sweep the floor. ''And you guys should at least keep your house clean and neat'', I sighed exasperatedly.

''Whatever...'', he shrugged. ''Let's go out'', he suddenly asked.

''Where?''

''Watch a movie or hanging out somewhere...?'', he looked reluctant.

My inner self laughed seeing his expression; probably thinking that I won't agree.

''I heard that the new movie was nice... I think it's fine'', my words make him looked excited like a kid. I chuckled seeing his expression.

''Let's have a selfie'', I winked. We tried a few clicks which came out nicely. Some girls who were passing by us giving a jealousy look to me since I'm with the most handsome guy in this world.

Chris was holding my hand all the way like he doesn't want me to leave him. For some reason, I feel like we are the actual couple.

''Popcorn?'', I showed the popcorn box to him.

''feed me'', he opens his mouth.

''Jeez... you behave like a kid'', annoyingly I feed him the popcorns while watching the movie.

In halfway through the movie, Chris laid his head on my shoulder as I turn to see him. He was sleeping. A smile forms on my lips seeing that. Raising my hand, I caress his hair.

After the movie, I saw Chris who keeps yawning which makes me chuckle seeing him.

''Wake up darling... The movie finished long ago'', I patted his shoulder. He turns to see me as he gives a sweet smile.

''you are not angry with me?'', he suddenly asked.

''Angry? Why must I?'', I was puzzled by his words.

''Hurmm... nothing'', he looked flushed.

Oh, now I get it.... He thought I'm angry with him because of our kiss last time. How can I get angry with him while I, myself allow him to do that?

''Come let me buy you a shirt'', I hold his arm.

''Shirt? For me?'', he raised his brow.

''Yes. Why?''

''I'm the one who should buy you things'', he pouted.

''Hahaha.... Girls also can buy for their man sometimes'', saying that, I walk forward but halted when Chris grabbed my hand. He was giving me a hopeful reaction.

''What did you say?'', he asked me in impatience.

Shit... I slipped my tongue...

''huh? Nothing'', I shrugged.

He suddenly leaned down and kissed my forehead which makes me froze in my place. ''Let's go'', he smiles. Holding my hand, he walks forward. After going through some shops, I bought two pairs of dress for him as well as for Marlene and for my family.
