JANESSA POV

In the morning, I woke up late around 11 am. Getting down, I saw Cris who is watching TV in the hall.

''Let's go out'', he spoke when I make my way to the kitchen.

''h...huh... now?'', I asked.

''Yes, I'm hungry'', he shrugged.

Honestly, I am too. He brought me to a seafood restaurant. Seeing him having a hard time to peel the prawn's skin, I did it for him. He raised his brow seeing my action.

''don't worry. My hands are clean'', I winked. ''I don't mind messing my hands for you''

''you know the food will turn delicious if we got feed by our beloved person'', I stated. '' my mom normally will feed me...''

''I don't have a mother to feed me though'', he mumbles but enough to hear me.

''I can feed you'', I smiled evilly as I try to shove a prawn in his mouth.

''Hey'', he was avoiding it but at last, I was able to feed him. He pouted childishly. I chuckled seeing his reaction.

He then brought me to a clinic to take MC. While I was waiting for my turn, I hug myself since it's cold. Unexpectedly, Cris covered me with his signature jacket.

''thanks'', I smile as I lay my head on his arm.

''Janessa'', Cris's voice woke me up. I realize that my head is on his chest. Lifting my body, I rub my eyes while looking at him.

''you ok?'', he asked.

I nodded. ''sorry... Is it my turn?'', it felt like few hours I slept on him but it's just 5 minutes.

''Yes...'', he replied.

The doctor prescribes some medicines for me as well give me two days MC which I'm grateful for.

''let's play poker card'', I said excitedly.

''Kids game'', Cris smirked.

Knocking his head, I forced him to play with me. All the way, I was winning the match whereas he keeps losing it.

''Damn'', he looked disappointed seeing my cards.

''I'm the queen'', I smiled proudly.

''In your dreams. I'm going to beat you'', he stated as he starts to shuffle the cards.

His expression is funny. He wanted to win so much as I saw him biting his nails nervously. I know I can win if I put this Queen card but I didn't do it. I make him win.

''Yesss... I won! I won!''', he said happily.

''jeez... just by luck'', I shrugged.

''you are jealous...'', he smirked. ''Now go make drinks for us'', he ordered since I told him that I will make drinks if he win''

''Roger that boss'', saying that I make my way to the kitchen.

While humming a song, I pour the boiled water in the two cups.

''You purposely lose isn't it?'' Cris's voice heard behind me. Turning back, I saw him holding my cards which I put on the table.

''Well... I didn't choose to win. That all'', I told him casually while concentrating to make drinks.

''Why?'', he asked me from behind.

''Because I want you to win'', I replied. ''It's done'', when I turn back, I saw him gone from there.

Where did he go?

Cris didn't come back after that. After taking a nap, I get a bath and get down since I felt hungry. Surprisingly Cris was in the hall but drinking beer. There are few empty cans on the table.

''Cris, why are you drinking beer now? Did you had dinner first?'', I asked him in disbelief.

He didn't reply but gulped down a can.

''Cris'', I grabbed his hand to stop him but he suddenly pulls me on the couch as he was on top of me. ''w...what....'', honestly, I was stunned seeing his action.

'' don't you dare to touch me. Don't you dare you to interfere in my life!'', he said seriously as he leans back from me.

I don't understand him at all. He was just fine in the afternoon but now...

Without saying anything, I walk out of the house. Better I don't disturb him now. Marlene told me about a burger stall at the end of the street. So I decided to buy burgers for dinner.

It was alone street and I saw a few dogs wandering around that place. I bought 2 chicken burgers and two sets of popcorn chickens.

''Cris?'', I was surprised when I saw him in front of me. ''what are you doing here?'', I asked him due to his sudden appearance. ''See I bought burgers for us'', I showed him the packets.

''I don't fucking need that burger'', he almost shouted at me.

''fine'', my expression totally dropped with his action. No matter how much I want to do good to him, he won't care less.

Walking forward, I stopped before the abandoned building. I saw one dog with her puppies while coming. So I decided to buy something for them. The mother dog waves her tails while sniffing around.

''Aww.... You know isn't it?'', I smile. Sitting down, I open the box of popcorn chicken and started to feed her and the puppies. I feel happy seeing them eating excitedly. Cris was still standing behind me. For some reason, I can't even get mad at him.

''Come. Sit down first'', I told him. He about to say something but I pull his hand make him sit beside me. ''Just shut up and help me'', saying that, I put few pieces of chicken on his palm. ''Feed them''

''NO HELL'', before he makes some moves, two puppies run around him while looking at him excitedly. I smile seeing Cris's puzzled reaction. Grabbing his wrist, I slowly bring it down. Those puppies eat the pieces of chicken happily. One of the puppies licks Cris's hand; signing him a thank you.

Without he realize, I saw Cris who is smiling seeing it.

''It's full moon'', I said as I looked up to the full moon who is shining brightly despite the dark clouds. ''Wanna eat?'', I asked him. Without waiting for his response, I put one burger in his hand.

Both of us started to eat silently.

''Did I say anything that makes you angry?'', I asked Cris.

He didn't day anything for a while. ''your actions make me remind of myself last time'', he speaks while seeing the moon.

''Is that mean people call you stupid sometimes?'', I teased.

''Obviously NO. I'm a smart guy'', he said proudly. I chuckle.

''Good... sometimes, people treat like I'm dumb'', smiling, I looked up to the sky. ''Can't blame them... I'm 26 years old but still don't know many things. Still being reckless and maybe that's why they looked down on me'', I sighed.

''So don't worry...'', I turned to see him. ''you are much better than me, Cris''

He didn't say anything but suddenly lay his head on my shoulder. I was sitting awkwardly at first but soon it disappears when I see his calm face.

''What if we raised a dog?'', I suggested when we were walking back.

''Guess what?'', he smiled. ''It's a big FATNO'', putting a disgusted face, he walks forward.

''hey, not fair'', I stomped my foot exasperatedly.
