Don't Go

JANESSA POV

As usual, being with my mom make me forget everything. Although my shift started 4 pm to 1 is, I return on Sunday since I need to pack my things.

I'm going to move out!

No one is in the house when I entered the house. Choky and Spotty looked excitedly seeing me. I played with them for some time since I'm certainly going to miss them.

''Hey Jane, you back home?'', Marlene greeted me from behind. Turning back, I saw Marlene and Chris in the hallway.

''Yes'', I stated as I put Spotty on the floor since he wants to go near Chris after see him.

''Come, let's have dinner... we are going out'', she invited.

''No it's Ok Marlene. I need to pack my things'', I told her.

''Pack your things? Why? You are going out somewhere?'', she looked puzzled.

''Thanks for letting me stay in this house. I found another rental room. So I'm leaving.'', I told her. She looked shocked by my words as I saw her turn to see Cris. Ignoring them, I walked to my room.

When I was packing my things, I was jolted out with the door thuds closed. Turning back, I saw Cris's serious figure standing before me.

He steps towards me.

''Is it because of that guy?'', he asked me seriously.

''What are you talking about?'', ignoring him, I shoved my things inside the trolley bag.

''Fucking tell me, damn it!'', he grabbed my arm roughly as he turned me to face him.

''It's because of you and your fucking attitude'', I replied angrily; taking my hand from him, I turned back and zip up my bag.

When I walk passing by him with my trolley back, Cris grabbed my hand. This time his grip softens. ''Don't go'', he says softly. Although I'm surprised by his action, I pushed away everything. I know he's just pretending.

''Huh? Why? So that you can treat me like a piece of shit again?'', I asked him back. ''you humiliated me enough Cris and this time, trust me. I can't forgive you even if I want'', I scowled

''Just don't go please'', he ignored my words and said the same thing which makes me even more irritated.

''After everything you did, don't you dare to stop me from leaving'', I said firmly. ''And why the hell you don't want me to go? I thought you will be the happiest person if....'', before I finish my words, Cris pushed me against the closet door behind which make me stunned.

''Because I like you and I don't want you to leave my life'', his words froze me. My eyes wide opened with his confession and my tongue-tied. I stood there speechlessly. He towers down towards my level.

''I'm sorry... I was angry when I heard that you went out with some guy... I....'', his eyes was looking at me. ''I'm sorry for hurting you. I didn't mean to'', he stated softly.

My heart is beating faster seeing him near to me. But I couldn't help from blushing. His fingers caress my cheek as his eyes were gazing me lovingly.

I shake my head; showing NO. His expression changed as he leans back from me. ''C...Cris, you are younger than me. You do realize it right?'', I asked him.

''I know and I don't care about those things'', he stated firmly.

''But I care'', I replied sadly. ''I can't do this'', I added. ''I'm... sorry'', hesitantly I looked up to him.
