Damn, I am a fool!! He bewitched me!

I groaned inwardly after the heated session last night. Cris was casually getting ready to work whereas I'm inside the bathroom, regretting him controlling me. I stripped my clothes off and step inside the shower when I caught something in the life-size mirror before me.

My eyes widened when I saw all the red marks on my neck down to my chest. Taking a quick bath, I put on an oversized shirt and walked out of the bathroom to face my husband. He was spraying his body.

''You purposely did this isn't it?'', I asked him angrily; pointing the so-called obvious hickeys.

He turned back to see me. His eyes dropped on my neck as he smirked. ''I didn't do anything'', he shrugged.

''I hate you Cris'', I told him.

''I know'', he chuckles. ''I take leave first. Bye'', saying that he walks out of the room.

Sighing, I sat at the side of my bed. Damn, I need to take MC today. I went to the clinic to take MC.

''Hey, congrats baby... I'm so happy. We are going to have a baby'', I saw a couple looking excited before me while waiting for my turn to meet the doctor. 

Well, good for them...

Wait a minute... speaking of which.... Damn, how can I forget it? My period. Three months delayed.

No No... I cannot get pregnant now....

I was praying hard when the doctor was checking my result.

''Mrs. Janessa, you were right. Congratulations. You are three months pregnant'', everything crumpled with the doctor's words.

Don't get me wrong. Of course, I'm happy with my pregnancy but.... If Crus knew about this, he will ask me to resign from my job instantly.

God, what should I do now....

I cannot this matter from him forever....

Normally I will wait for Cris until he back home but today I didn't wait for him. I don't want him to find out about my pregnancy. I'm sure he will recognize if I'm lying to him.

Someone was caressing my hair. Opening my eyes, I saw Cris beside me.

''You OK?'', he asked me in concern. I nodded.

''sorry I was sleepy'', I lied.

''Hey, that's OK'', he strokes my hair. ''Come'', he invited in his arms. Leaning forward, I laid my head on his chest.

I'm sorry Cris.... I need to tell him about my pregnancy....

Few days pass. Somehow, I was able to hide my pregnancy from him.

''Sis, you should tell him about this. If he knows about this himself, he would be enraged'', my sister advised me when I called her to release my stress. 

''but I don't want to quit my job. I'm sure he will force me to quit my job'', I told her worriedly.

''Think about that later sis. Now you need to inform him. How long you want to hide? He deserves to know'', she added.

She's right. Cris deserves to know. I need to tell him today....

As usual, after work Cris fetch me. Both of us didn't talk anything all the way back home.

''Lewis slept off ready?'', I asked while entering the hall.

''Are you pregnant, Janessa?'', his words halted me. I gulped hard as I turned to face him. He was looking dead serious.

Damn, how he knows about this?

''I'm asking you damn it!'', his shout startled me.

''C...Cris'', I shiver down my spine seeing his reaction. I nodded saying YES.

''Why you hide this matter from me?'', he gritted his teeth.

''I... I'm sorry Cris... I wanted to tell you but...''

''But what? You secretly planning to abort the child since you love your job more than anything else?'', he asked me sarcastically.

''Cris, No...'', I step towards him. ''I won't do such thing'', grabbing his arm, I persuaded him.

''ENOUGH'', he pushed my hand. ''I'm not fucking care about your explanation. Guess what. you won't be going to work starting tomorrow'', he said strictly.

''See this is why I didn't tell you'', I showed my dissatisfaction. He turned to see me. ''I don't want to quit my job. OK? I won't quit'', I replied firmly.

''don't tempt me, Janessa. You know exactly what I'm capable of'', he warned.

''Then, I can say the same thing to you. If you want me to carry this child, then you must allow me to work'', I retorted back.

''What will you do? Uh?'', he asked me sarcastically.

''If so, as you said I will abort this child'', soon after I said it, his hand almost crashed my cheek. I was stunned by his action.

''don't you dare, Janessa! Don't you dare!'', he warned before walking to upstairs. 

This is the first time he almost tries to hit me....

He slept in Lewis's room that night. Cris doesn't even apologize to me for raising his voice and to almost hit me!!
