Jiles' POV

Just like I expected, Gianna dropped the charges. It was the beginning of December and I was happy to be going into the rest of the Holiday season without that looming over mine and Raegan's heads.

"Thanks so much Tony," I said, getting off the phone with him. "Baby!" I yelled. She was still upstairs getting ready for the day and hadn't heard the news yet. I reluctantly got up since she probably couldn't hear me and entered the bathroom where she was doing something to her hair. Curling it or something I don't know. "Guess who just called," I grinned, watching her in the mirror.

"Who?" she asked, keeping her eyes on her hair.

"Tony. He said he just talked to the lawyers and Gianna dropped the charges," I said proudly. She put the curling thing down and jumped in my arms.

"Finally!" she laughed as I jumped around with her in my arms. "It's gonna be a Merry Christmas for real now," she smiled. I placed her back on her feet and kissed her a few times. "Do you know if she's dropping Kyle's charges, too?"

"He wasn't really supposed to say but yes. Off the record she's dropping all charges on both of you," I smiled. The whole situation on Halloween night came with a lot of unnecessary drama but we finally had it all straightened out.

"You ready for Philly tonight," she asked.

"Are you?" I laughed. It had been a long time since Raegan and Dream traveled to a game with me and I was excited to be with them tonight.

"I'm so excited! I don't even care about my event. I'm just excited to watch you play," I wrapped an arm around her small waist and bent down kissing her neck some.

"You watch me play every week," I laughed.

"And I never get bored of it," she grinned. "Plus, away games are always exciting. It's like watching you in a whole new environment," she explained. I sat there holding her for a second, not wanting to let go.

"I love you," I said, quietly.

"I love you more," she replied.

Later that afternoon I had to leave early with the team and for some reason it was even harder to say good-bye than usual. I slept on most of the plane ride when Malachi wasn't talking my ear off. I swear he never shut up.

"What's the deal with you and Ky?" I asked Isaac as we walked off the plane together.

"She's done with Yo I guess but we haven't established anything really," he said. It had been a few weeks since they slept together and I was waiting for him to say Yo and her were over and try to swoop in. "I'm tryna take things slow, you know?"

"I feel it. How's Junior? I ain't seen neph in a minute," I realized I'd only seen him a few times last month.

"He's huge man," he laughed. "Look at this," he said pulling his phone out and showing me a picture of him.
