College sweethearts Raegan and Jiles ended on rocky terms but when Jiles is traded to the Boston Celtics, the same city Raegan has just moved to to escape her old life, will they meet again and rekindle what they once had or will they let go of each...
As the buzzer sounded, indicating the game was over I watched my Finals hopes float away. We had lost our series to the Heat. 2-4 and they'd be going on to play the Lakers instead of us. I was frustrated beyond belief but kept it cool for my on-court interviews.

As soon as I stepped off the court and was out of view I took my jersey off and threw it. We were so close. I left Miami and came to Boston hoping I'd get a ring and instead my old teammates beat us. They were closer than us and something about that didn't sit right with me at all. I packed my things from the locker room without saying a word. When coach came in to talk to us I was still too upset to speak to anyone. My teammates thanked me or said something to try to be encouraging but I wasn't in the position to reciprocate any of it. I just left and did my press conference with Zamir and Isaac.
"Jiles, we know you're especially disappointed in this outcome. Leaving Miami to come to Boston to fall short is tough. How are you feeling right now?" a reporter asked. I wanted to cuss him out but I had to keep it under control.
"It's tough for sure. I'm still kinda in shock. Like the season's really over. That's crazy to think," I said.
"What are your plans now that the season's over like you said?" he asked.
"I'm going home. Spending time with my fiancee and daughter," I smiled thinking of them.
The press conference was over shortly and I was about to head to the car when I remembered I had left a small bag with my charger, headphones, and a few other travel things I needed. I walked down the back halls of the arena towards the room to grab it but stopped when I heard someone arguing around the corner. I wasn't one to be nosy but I could tell it was Isaac and was confused because the girl's voice wasn't Kyle.
"What are you talking about bro I haven't seen you since Philly," Isaac said.
"Right, which was a month ago. Guess how far along I am," the girl said. My eyes got big when I heard that.
"China, if you're on bs right, I'm so serious-"
"You'll what? What do I need to lie about this for?" I racked my brain trying to think of who the fuck China was. He hadn't talked to me about any female. Then I realized he mentioned Philly because she was the girl he was hooking up with when we played them the first round of playoffs.
"I don't know who else you've been with," he said and I held my laugh in. This man was crazy, he was asking to get slapped.
"Nobody, nigga. It's yours,"
"I already have a baby on the way what the fuck I'm supposed to do now?" he asked and I tried to stay quiet.
"That's not my problem that's yours. All I know is I'm pregnant and you're the father," she said. She sounded honest, I just couldn't believe what I was hearing.
