Jiles' POV

"Yeah, I just called the place and made sure the ice sculptures were ready," I heard Raegan say into her phone. "What else? The flowers! Has anyone checked on that?" she asked, jumping up and looking around for something. I came up behind her and massaged her shoulders.

"Relax," I said into her ear. She swatted me away and walked off, still talking on the phone. When she came back I grinned, watching her stress. "Can you take it easy?" I laughed.

"I can't, there's so much I have to do for today,"  she said. Today was Kyle's baby shower and it was her genius idea to throw it while trying to take care of an 8-month-old.

"What needs to be picked up? Me and Isaac can go," I said, trying to be helpful.

"The flowers. I'm gonna call and see what time we can get them," she said about to pull her phone back out but Dream started crying.

"I got her. Handle your party planning stuff and let me know when we need to leave," I said. I went into the nursery and grabbed her from her crib. She had just woken up from a nap and apparently it was a good one cuz her face was bright red. I kissed her chubby cheeks and brought her into the room with me and Raegan.

Rae had been working long and hard for this party and I admired all that she did for her friends. Kyle had been down lately due to the fact that Isaac had to split his time between her and China since they were both pregnant and I knew she wanted today to go perfect to help take Kyle's mind off of all that.

She finally calmed down and laid on the bed, scrolling through her phone for a minute.

"What time you leaving?" I asked. It was the first time I'd seen her sit down today and hoped it'd last long enough for her to take a real break.

"Few minutes," she shrugged. "Wow, look at this," she said, turning her phone around. It was a post from the shaderoom of China. Her belly had grown and she was noticeably pregnant now.

"He's finna have his hands full," I said, shaking my head

"He's finna have his hands full," I said, shaking my head. I didn't know how he was going to do it.

After a little bit I got up and found some clothes to put on Dream so she could come with me and Isaac to get the flowers. I got her all dressed and bundled in her carseat then kissed Rae goodbye.

"I might be gone when you get back, I have to run and pick up some stuff, too. Her dress is on the changing table in her room if you could get her ready for me," she said.

"No problem," I smiled. I headed over to Isaac's and picked him up before going to the florist.

"Why my niece look bigger every time I see her?" he asked, looking at her sitting in her carseat.

"Man, she's heavy now, too," I laughed. It was like she grew every day. I was so excited for her first birthday. We were going all out for my baby.
