The members of the Shadow Blood pack woke up to the sound of the emergency sirens going off in the packhouse. The sirens caused dread in the hearts of the pack members. The sirens meant only one thing, the pack was under attack. Everyone started rushing towards the hall in the packhouse, the house was in utter chaos as everyone was trying to get inside the hall at an ungodly hour. In this moment of utter chaos alpha, Alex's voice was heard by the pack members.

"Everyone will remain calm and those unable to fight will follow Luna Julian. Others meet me in front of the packhouse."

The warriors and the omegas were running in the opposite direction of the hall to get out of the packhouse. During these moments of chaos, a certain fragile-looking omega bumped into a certain hot-headed omega making her drop her phone.

"What's your problem bitch?" Claire hissed angrily turning around to punch the scared Callum. But Mika was fast to rescue her friend.

"Move your ass, Claire, we don't have time for your temper tantrums," the disdain was clear in Mika's voice. Not only Mika but other omegas also didn't get along with Claire and kept their distance from her. Mika pushed past Claire deliberately bumping shoulders with her, taking Callum with her.

Several cars were parked outside the packhouse and Alex was tapping his foot impatiently waiting for everyone to assemble. Within a minutes all the warriors of the Shadow moon pack were standing outside the packhouse ready to take down the enemy. They weren't worried about the thick layer of snow covering the ground or the dark of the early morning.

"Get inside the cars, " most of the warriors still had a sleep hazed mind but they followed their alpha's orders naturally. Everyone was confused with the current situation, they couldn't figure out what was happening but they didn't dare to question their alpha. Eight black SUVs with eight warriors in each drove down the snow-covered dirt path. The others scattered to guard their territory as per their alphas order. The cars drove away and away from the packhouse making everyone even more confused. The haze of sleep started disappearing from everyone's mind making them aware of their surroundings. Questions like where are we going? What happening? Started to rise. Looking outside the window wasn't much help as well as it was still dark and some unfortunate souls that somehow managed to catch a glimpse of a watch during all the chaos informed everyone that it was somewhere near half-past three in the morning. The caravan finally stopped after half an hour, everyone hurried outside and were met with the sight of a small packhouse and a group of at least forty to fifty wolves standing in front of the packhouse. Everyone got out of the cars and followed their alpha.

"Thank you alpha Alex for helping us, " a man with olive skin and hazel green eyes said shaking Alex's hand.

"I would be lying if I said I don't have a personal gain in doing this, alpha Henry, " the name made a bulb go off in the mind of some of the warriors. Alpha Henry Reed was the alpha of the Redwood Pack. Redwood pack was a small pack that was surrounded by equally small packs like Midnight pack, Blue moon pack, Dark forest pack, wolf creek pack and Moonshine pack. The six-packs were living in harmony for several centuries, they had good relations with each other and had one common problem and enemy. They all shared their boundaries with the Lupus fang pack. And the psychopath warriors of the lupus fang pack weren't afraid to cross their boundaries and cause chaos. They would invade the packs and kill their pack members for fun or abducted pups or omegas. All the six-packs were considerably small with populations not exceeding a hundred, the most popular pack was the redwood pack with one hundred and twenty pack members and it only exceeded a hundred because the pack members were too afraid to come out of their hiding places. All the six-packs were afraid to start a war against Henkins, they knew they would never win against him even if they joined forces. Alex's offer to help them was like a light of hope for them. They knew the reason behind Alex's offer but they didn't care. Henkins was an evil that needed to be dealt with sooner than later. And just like that, they started to study and observe their enemy. The six-packs formed a pact and observed the patrols and the slip-ups. And the common thing they noticed was the lack of patrol in the morning hours. Some pack members even risked their lives and crossed the boundary of the Lupus Fang pack and took a stroll to the packhouse to confirm their suspicion. The patrolling warriors of the lupus fang pack were as good as dead people during the early morning hours. It was the only time then the attacking party would have an upper hand against them and Alex wasn't going to miss this opportunity. The reason behind this large blunder in their pack security was their overconfidence, they knew no one with a sane mind or with a wish to live a longer life would dare to attack them.
