"Come in" Kevin moved a little away from his mate as the door opened and alpha Carter entered the room followed by alpha Allison, alpha Spencer, alpha Henry and Alex's second and third in command.

"I am glad to see you awake alpha Alex because we got a shit tone of things to discuss with you," alpha Carter said when she saw Alex wide awake lying on the bed. She looked worn out, and her eyes were somewhat lost.

"I am sorry to keep you waiting, we can start now," Kevin helped Alex sat on the bed as the others took the available seats around the room.

Everyone settled on their seats only alpha Spencer remained standing. He was walking alongside the walls touching them as his eyes stayed out of focus. Alex had a hunch about what he was doing while the others were staring at him curiously. All the alphas present inside the room felt the shift in the energy when he came back to the place from where he started.

"Barrier?" Alex was the only one besides alpha Spencer who could see the barrier created by Spencer around the room.

"This barrier will prevent anyone from eavesdropping," Even though Spencer didn't show any reaction towards Alex's ability but he was curious about it. Spencer came from a line of half-blood wolves with fairy blood in them. Fairy magic was different from witch magic, fairies have a magical affinity towards certain things like plants, barriers and even elements but witch magic was more spell and ritual bound with no special affinity towards elements or other things. But the mixing of blood caused the magic to mutate into a different kind as well, the magic used by hybrids were different from the magic used by Purebloods.

"Thank you alpha, Spencer." Spencer nodded at alpha Carter and stood beside the door leaning on the wall as all the seats inside the room were taken.

"We rescued all the pack members from the Lupus fang pack but they are not in a good state. The horrors that they suffered under the psycho were inhuman. We also found omegas held captive in the cells, and pregnant underaged omegas." Alpha Carter gritted her teeth as she spat out the words, her eyes filled with tears of frustration. She could still see the dirty faces of those underaged omegas who were supporting their bulging bellies as they were helped out from the underground cells. They were sickly thin, naked and supporting numerous injuries new and old. There were even some newly captured with baby fat still on their faces but their bodies were covered in hideous injuries, bite and claw marks.

Alex listened to her words but his face remained unchanged. He knew all these things even before attacking the Lupus fang pack. He knew about the suffering of the omegas inside the pack and he even knew Henkins wanted to capture him as well.

"And the pups?" Alex knew deep inside that it was impossible to save all the pups but he wanted to save as many as possible.

"It's a lost cause, only one-fourth of the total can be saved, others are too far gone. They all have chips inside their brains that can be used to control them but it won't take too long for the chips to become useless. The chips use the electric shock of different magnitudes to give them instructions but it won't work after some time, they'll become resistant to the pain." It was alpha Allison who spoke, even though she looked calm like always but her eyes reflected the pain she felt in her heart. The thought of killing underaged pups was inhuman as it was but they needed to do it. Those who lost their minds completely were a danger for every living being out there. They didn't understand anything other than their basic instincts of hunger and to kill.

"The unshifted pups aren't any better, they are not anything like normal children. All of them have this lost look in their eyes, some of them are aggressive and some are too quiet," Jordan said remembering the little pups, the pups weren't like the pups in his pack, they were like scared small animals ready to defend themselves. They were sickly thin with only bones and skin, with visible scars on them. Some of them even attacked the pack members who tried to help them. Jordan can't even imagine the horrifying things that they had to endure inside the packhouse at the hands of those who were supposed to protect and cherish them.
