Chapter 16: Bunny's birthday.

Benny's birthday was two days after River's birthday and right now all the friends along with River and Jordan were waiting for the clock to strike twelve in the alpha's suit. Kevin was sitting with Alex on his lap on the couch, River and Jacob were sitting on the couch across the alpha pair. Clair was busy typing away on her phone while sitting on the floor. Zach was giving Jordan death glares and Benny was pacing in front of the group. A cake box was placed on the coffee table and Jordan was shifting uncomfortably beside Zach. Alex was trying to suppress a smirk while looking at the pacing omega and shifting beta.

"What's so amusing?" Kevin's voice echoed in Alex's mind. Alex looked at his mate, bitting his inner cheeks, trying to suppress a smile.

"The two oblivious idiots." Kevin raised an eyebrow at his mate, he didn't know his mate know about the tiny omega and the goofy beta.

"You know?" Kevin tenderly caressed his mate's soft cheek, he wanted nothing more than to just bite those soft cheeks, kiss his mate's delectable lips, get drunk on his addicting taste.

"This is my pack Kev, I know about everyone and everything." Alex leaned in his mate's touch, both completely forgot about the company they had.

"So you knew about us being mates before your eighteenth birthday?" Kevin slid a hand around his mate's waist and pulled him closer.

"I did." Just because the conversation between them was silent they forgot that everyone around them could see them. And the changing positions between them were noticed by everyone around them. Kevin skimmed his nose across Alex's neck breathing in his mate's scent.

"Is this your gift for me Alexi? Werewolf gay porn?" Benny's voice broke the otherwise lost mates out of their bubble but Kevin didn't let Alex pull away.

"Mine," Kevin growled showing his teeth to Benny, the thought of other people seeing his mate in a vulnerable position, lost in pleasure not settling right with him. Poor Beeny squeaked and ran to Zach to save him from the angry alpha.

"Chill Kevin, we know Alex is yours. No one is challenging you." Zach pulled his baby brother close to him, and away from Kevin's sight. The clock was a minute away from striking twelve. As time was getting closer the hormones were shifting too, Alex and Clair being omegas sensed the shifting hormones before the dominant wolves present in the room. Benny and Jordan's wolves made themselves known as the clock struck twelve. Benny's brown eyes swapped with Berry's green eyes, the lipochrome pigment giving them a greenish-yellow colour. And Tsar's, Jordan's wolf's dark black eyes swapped places with Jordan's light brown ones.

"Congratulations, but restraint from engaging in any activities right here and right now." The two newly found mates looked at Alex who was sitting in his mate's lap. Alex's tone was friendly but it was an order. It wasn't uncommon for omega's to go into a temporary heat after finding their mates. But usually, a heat was only triggered when the two mates were physically in contact, mate's touch triggered the heat and it lasted several hours. Keeping a dominant mate away from the in-heat submissive was next to impossible. And Alex didn't want Jordan to trigger Benny's heat outside their personal chamber.

"Happy birthday bunny." Jordan moved closer to his mate but restrained from making physical contact. He wanted to touch his mate, feel his milky skin under his callous hands but he knew he won't be able to stop himself.

"Tha-thank you." Benny shied away from him and buried his face in his brother's shoulder.

"Omg! Benny are you being shy. Wow........ Aren't you the same bitch who was thirs-"
