The tension between the alpha pair was so thick, the pack members were walking on eggshells around them. They were afraid to even breathe the wrong way to not irk Kevin's or worse Alex's temper. The news about the upcoming attack wasn't revealed to the pack, the only reason they interpreted for the increased training was their alphas bad temper. The news about the tension between the alpha pair reached Alex's parents as well. Alpha Michael was well aware of his son's brooding nature, Alex wasn't one to openly talk about his problems or troubles. He rather bottled everything inside himself, but what he didn't realize was this caused a thick blanket of tension to settle around him. The usually calm Alex didn't look one bit like an alpha with his warm eyes and innocent face but his brooding self looked every bit like the powerful alpha he was. His electrifying blue eyes burning with anger made a shiver of terror run down the spine of even the bulkiest of the warrior of the pack. It always amazed Michael how this much power and rage contained inside Alex's small stature.

Michael looked at his son who was sparring or more like ripping through the herd of omegas. He winced when little Callum landed on his wrist and Mika right over him. All the omegas fell like dominos within seconds, Alex was the only one standing. Michael took pity on the fallen omegas and called the training session short.

"You are a messiah alpha, you saved us," Mika said dramatically wiping her fake tears and pulling Callum with her.

Michael shook his head fondly at the bubbly omega and walked towards his son who was still standing in the same position.

"Alex, go for a run with me?" Alex nodded and followed his father to the woods. The place where Michael was standing, was now occupied by a majestic grey wolf, Goliath. Goliath was Michael's wolf and Perry's father. Goliath was just like Michael in his temperament but he was even colder and harsher than Michael. The relationship between Perry and Goliath was on rocks for years. He didn't approve of the ways Perry behaved and carried herself. He hated how much of an omega showed in the way Perry behaved, he wanted her to behave like an alpha, like an authority figure and not like a pup high on sugar. Goliath liked Alex more than Perry and this caused Perry to act out even more to offend him. Perry was always on a go, to do things that her father didn't approve of, just to piss him off. But deep down both of them wanted to mend the relationship between them.

Alex got undressed and shifted quickly into his snow-white wolf. When Perry faced Goliath she huffed and looked away from him. Goliath sighed and walked more into the woods knowing Perry would be right behind him even if it was the last thing she wanted to do. Perry followed behind her father silently having an internal argument with Alex. She wanted nothing more than to just flee the place and hideaway somewhere in the back of Alex's mind. It wasn't like she didn't want to spend time with her father but most of the time they ended up arguing, making the strained relationship between them even worse. Perry was so lost in cursing Alex to the end of the earth that she didn't notice when her father stopped walking and walked headfirst into him.

"Sorry, " Perry apologized without even looking at him.

"Stop being childish Persephone, you need to be more aware of your surroundings. What if an enemy sneaked at you while you were busy daydreaming?" Goliath growled at Perry but it did nothing to scare her, the only thing it managed to do was to flare her temper.

"Then I would have died and you won't have to live with the shame of having an alpha son with an omega wolf anymore." Perry snapped as her rage started reaching a new level.
