"Let's go for a run," Alex told Kevin who was angrily pacing in their bedroom. After the meeting with Jordan and Zach, Kevin had been in an unpleasant mood. The thought of some other wolf wanting his mate wasn't settling. He wasn't foolish, he knew what the paper was for. The other person was trying to warn them, telling them to surrender. The scent was left deliberately to tell them what he wanted and he wanted Alex. Kevin and Adolf just wanted to find that person and kill them in the most painful way possible.

Kevin stopped pacing when he heard his mate's voice. His mate was dressed in his t-shirt, covered in his scent. Kevin stretched a hand towards his mate who was sitting on the bed, Alex stood up on the bed and took Kevin's outstretched hand. He pulled Alex in his arms and hugged his small frame. Alex hugged the large teddy bear and kissed his cheek.

"It's okay to be scared, Kev," Alex whispered after several minutes. Kevin looked at his mate astonished. He was sure the connection between them was blocked, he didn't know how his mate knew he was scared.

"I don't need to look through your thoughts or feel your emotions to know how you are feeling. And If I was you I would be scared too." And here Kevin was thinking he made sure to not show any weakness in front of his mate.

"Let's go," Alex said breaking the hug and pulling Kevin towards the door. The alpha pair walked down the stairs and out of the back door. The land was covered with snow, but they weren't cold. They did a quick job of discarding their clothes and changing in their wolf forms. Perry excitedly ran into the snow the moment the transformation was complete. Kevin and Adolf watched their silly mate rolling in the snow. Kevin found it amusing how his Alex and Perry were two different poles. The calm and collected Alex had an over-excited and silly wolf Perry. Perry excitedly wagged her tail and looked at his mate. At the moment Kevin knew Alex gave the full control to Perry and Kevin did the same giving full control to Adolf.

"Let's play." Perry jumped excitedly in front of his mate, inviting him to play. Adolf looked down at his adorable mate who looked like an excited puppy, the large amber eyes with a blue streak making his heart melt.

"Okay."

"Tag." Perry tagged Adolf's large paw with her smaller white one's and ran towards the woods. Adolf ran behind his mate, trying to catch the silly white wolf. Perry knew she was smaller than most of the wolves and she took the advantage of that. Her smaller size and slender body gave her speed far greater than other wolves. And her small size made others underestimate her which she also used to her advantage.

"You can't catch me grumpy pants, " Perry said looking back at his massive mate following her.

"Don't tempt me pup," Adolf said gaining more speed, but even he knew it was close to impossible to catch Perry.

"You are getting old Adolfy," Perry said jumping over a root. She looked back to see Adolf and bumped in a low branch. The bump caused her small finger to trip and roll on the snow, coming to a halt in front of his mate. Adolf towered over his silly mate, who was lying on her back with her tongue out of her mouth.

"The tree hurts me Adolfy," Adolf swore Perry sounded like Esme or was it the other way around. He barked a small laugh and dipped down to lick his mate's snout.

"Better?" Adolf asked after licking his mate's furry little face.

"Yup." Perry barked happily at his mate. She always knew Adolf was her mate but a small flicker of uncertainty in her heart stopped her from advancing towards her mate. But now she was one hundred per cent sure they were mates, now she was going to have fun spending time with the majestic warrior. Adolf nuzzled his mate's neck, licking at her snow-white fur, grooming her. Perry bared her neck for the dominant wolf, submitting to him.
