Alpha Michael in the picture.

The future alpha spotted his father helping some newly shifted wolves when the Alpha spotted his son coming his way he excused himself and met his son halfway.

"Ready son?" Alpha Michael asked circling his son, Michael was a mountain of a guy, tall, broad and intimidating. The only other person as tall as him in the pack was head warrior Kevin.

"Ready dad." And with that Michael launched on his son, but Alex was ready and skillfully dodged his father.

The father and son were attacking each other viciously with the intent of drawing blood. And as always Michael was the first one to draw blood, Alex never draws the first blood, his love and respect for this father stopped him from doing that. But if he wanted he was perfectly capable of doing that.
Alex was thrown on the ground from the effect of a precisely aimed kick and the head warrior on the other side of the field stopped abruptly. From the moment the future alpha set his feet on the training grounds the head warrior had his eyes focused on him. He was clenching his jaw and fists, a growl was threatening to fall from his clenched jaw seeing his mate hurt. But he knew it was a part of his mate's training, he knew his mate was strong and this little injury was nothing for him. But his wolf part refused to understand the explanation, he just wanted his mate safe. The mate that didn't know about them being mates.

Alex unaware of the head warriors dilemma jumped on his father. Some pack members halted their training just to watch the father-son duo fight tooth and nail. After several minutes of sparring in human form, they shifted mid-fight, a majestic brown wolf facing a considerably smaller but elegant looking snow-white wolf. The large wolf jumped on the smaller one caging it under him but the smaller wolf kicked the larger one away using his hind legs. The pained howl from the larger wolf showed that the smaller wolf successfully clawed his underbelly as well. The two wolves clawed and bite at each other but in the end, Alex stood victoriously over his father's brown wolf. His white coat matted with blood and dirt, everyone cheered for the future alpha except for the head warrior. The white wolf's amber eyes met the head warrior's purple eyes, showing his wolf's presence. The wolf tilted his head towards the head warrior but he turned and ran into the woods.

Kevin shifted mid-run clothes tearing in the process, he ran and ran until he reached the pond in the clearing. His wolf was getting restless day by day, he wanted his mate near him, in his arms, to touch him, to feel him. He always watched his mate from far, his slender body, his lean muscles flexing during the training. His gentle smile, his electrifying blue eyes always looking at everyone tenderly, his shy expressions whenever pack members greeted him. His mate was beautiful, he still remembered his mate's touch, the addictive feeling of his skin on his. He stopped pairing with his mate during training sessions, too afraid to lose control. But the feel of his mate's touch was burned in his memories.

He walked to the pond and stared at his reflection, he was opposite of his mate. His mate was adored by the pack but his name caused them to cower in terror. His mate was gentle and kind-hearted but he was intimidating and cold-hearted. Even their wolves were the counter opposite of each other. Perry was an elegant and beautiful wolf while Adolf was a ruthless and scary wolf. Perry was playful while Adolf was grumpy. He couldn't understand what the moon goddess was thinking when she paired his wonderful mate with a monster like himself.

When he returned to the packhouse it was already dark, he shifted when he neared the back yard. He picked some random clothes from the basket near the back door and entered the packhouse. He went to the game room looking for his shadow guards for today's report but his way was blocked by a seven years old who was the only pack member not afraid of him.

"Hey, Kevin." Esme waved at Kevin grinning from ear to ear. From the last two years, the youngest pup of the alpha followed him whenever and wherever possible. He was the only pack member apart from the alpha who approached Kevin without cowering in fear. Kevin grunted his greetings and continued on his track, but the pup was a determined one and followed Kevin.
