Later in the evening, all of us hopped onto the vehicles that we came in and by night time we had reached our houses.
"Hey, how was the trip?" Livia asked as Jason and I got inside the house.
"It was good," I replied."Freshen up. I'll arrange the tables," Livia told us and shooed us off to our rooms.
I was exhausted and my limbs were barely moving. Regardless, I had a shower and went downstairs just as Livia called us for dinner.
I could not even open my eyes once I had dinner. Thus, without even brushing my teeth I flopped onto my bed. Just as my body hit the soft mattress, I was dozed off.
The next time I opened my eyes, the Sun was well risen up in the sky. Checking my phone, I saw that it was ten o'clock in the morning. Woah! I had slept for almost twelve hours.
I went downstairs, after attending the washroom, to see Jason making something.
"Good morning," Jason greeted me as I went to sit beside the table.
"What are you making?" I asked him before I let out a huge silent yawn."Pancakes," he replied.
"Mhmm I'm famished," I added.Resting my head on my elbows, I had my eyes fixed on Jason. The notion, that the boy in front of me was my boyfriend, still felt to alien.
As Jason finished making the pancakes, he turned and put my plate in front of mine. He then grabbed the chocolate syrup before coming to sit next to me.
"These are amazing," I said as I took the first bite.
"Thanks," he replied while smiling."Finn called in the morning," Jason added.
"Finn?" I asked surprised.
"Yeah he said that he tried to contact you but you were asleep at that time so he called the landline," Jason stated."What was so urgent?" I asked unable to fathom it.
"Didn't say. But he told that he will come by tonight and implored that you stay home," said Jason."I wasn't planning on going anywhere either way," I mentioned.
"Do you think he's just about to tell sorry?" Jason asked me.
"Maybe. Maybe not. We'll see.""It's a little queer provided that he could tell sorry over the phone too. I suppose he has something else to say," I added.
"Probably," Jason replied skepticaly. After breakfast I washed the dishes and was putting them in its place when Jason came behind me.
"Do you have any particular plans for the day?" he asked as he hugged me from my behind. It was such a sweet yet simple gesture and I almost melted.
"Thought I would finish the dozen of assignments for school," I joked.
"Can I help?" he asked.
"I suppose you can if you want to," I added.Jason's breath was fanning against my ears and I was all disoriented inside.
"Or we can watch a movie together," he added as his lips brushed against my ears.
My hormones were raging inside me. How did he do that to me with such little work?
I turned to face Jason to see him smiling.
"What do you want to watch?" I asked with a low voice. We were probably separated by an inch or two. Without answering my question, his eyes fell on my lips and before long he held my face to kiss me softly.
My hands went on top of his head while one of his hands were on my face while the other was rested on my back.
"Vianna can I drop you off at school tomorrow?" he asked as we broke apart.
"I would love that," I replied while grinning. On any other day, I would have considered not studying at all. However, Jason and I both had school work that needed attending.
In the former hours we did the work in out own rooms and it was rather banal. However, Jason had told me to keep mathematical for the last because he was still helping me with that subject.
It took double the time than it was required for me to finish the mathematics assignment. That was mostly because Jason and I would begin to talk amongst ourselves, instead of doing it.
"My boyfriend is my mathematics tutor," Jason said and for some reason he found it very funny.
"My mathematics tutor is my boyfriend. That has more ring to it," I added while Jason was still laughing.
"I could write a book on that," he joked as I was finishing the last sum.
"Finally. Done," I exclaimed. It was late afternoon and we did not have our lunch yet. Neither Jason nor I was in the mood for making ourselves anything fancy. Thus, we took the bread out and had a normal toast.
"Come on I wanna show you something," Jason said as he took the plate of food in one hand and beckoned me to follow him.
Jason led the path and I followed him to his room. It was probably one of the only few times that I had been inside his room for which I had not noticed the door in the corner.
"How did this secret door magically appear all of a sudden?" I joked.
"It is the way to my secret spot," Jason said without looking back.He opened the door and it opened to reveal a small balcony.
"I did not know that there was a balcony attached to your room," I said sounding surprised. As the house was situated in the fringe of the city, the tall buildings could be seen in the distance before which there lay miles of greenery.
"The landscape is so pretty," I said.
"Nobody is allowed here. I only come here when I need space to think," Jason added as he sat down on the floor.
"What do you need to think about now?" I asked with humour.
"Nothing just wanted to show you this place," he replied.Jason and I spend the rest of the evening in there while indulging ourselves into a conversation.
We would have continued our conversation but the knock on the main door broke it.
"It's probably Finn cause mom said she will be late," Jason said.
"Yeah let's go," I added.
"Finn knows that we are dating right?" Jason asked.
"Probably," I said eyeing him skepticaly.I opened the door and it was Finn standing there.
"Hey how are you?" I asked as we hugged.Finn got inside the house and sat on the couch in the living room.
"I'll be upstairs," Jason said. He kissed my forehead before going and I had assumed that he did that on purpose."So what's so urgent?" I asked Finn and waited for him to say whatever he was about to.
