Monday came by with the speed of light. I despised Mondays more than any other day. Classes in the morning had to be endured with every ounce of energy that I gathered in the weekends. When the bell rang for recess, all of us let out a huge sigh because the worst part of the week was done.
"Vee, I need to tell you something," Finn mentioned as we were walking through the hallway to go to the cafeteria during recess.
"Yeah?" I asked but was diverted from him when I saw Addison jumping in the distance."Are you high?" Aiden asked her as we approached Addison and Thea standing out of our class.
"What the hell happened?" Nathan inquired with a bewildered countenance.
"You remember Noah?" Addison began to say.
"Who?" Finn inquired.
"Jason's friend?" I questioned."Yeah, we have been talking since the day we met in Vee's house. Today morning he asked me out on a date," Addison said and let out a contended sigh.
"Wow," Thea said with her eyes wide.
"He actually did?" I asked not believing what I heard. Noah and I just met that one day and I was certain that it was Noah's and Addison's first and only meeting too."How can someone be so swift in making a move?" Nathan asked, saying the words that were in my mind.
"Nathan it takes guts which you don't have," Aiden teased him.
"I know," Nathan said to himself before resting his head on the table.
"You should do it before it's too late," Aiden whispered to him, with a sudden force in his voice as if to imply something."Oh my my does Nathan have someone on his mind too?" Addison inquired.
"No," he said in a dispassionate way.
"Okay," Addison smirked and put her hand up in a surrendering position."How's Stacy going Aiden?" Finn asked heaving a huge sigh.
"Neither Stacy nor I want to be in, you know, a serious relationship," Aiden added meekly."So it's just a 'for the timing' sort of thing?" Addison questioned.
"Maybeee," Aiden replied.
"Why do you even have to do it? I mean if you're not looking for a relationship then why bother searching for it?" Thea inquired jokingly."Uhhh, that's a great question Sherlock, one I suppose none of us has the answer to," I said dramatically making them laugh.
"I'm just enjoying my time. What will happen in the future will be seen later. You only live once, my dear boys and girls" said Aiden stirringly.
"Since when did you start taking philosophy classes?" Addison teased him.
That was mostly what being with my friends was like. We would joke around the whole time, tease each other and most importantly stood there beside each other at all times.
Classes resumed soon and we all headed to our respective classrooms to face the mundane system of education.
After school we all went to Addison's place because she told us she needed to look stunning at her first date with Noah. I had called Livia to tell her that I will be late.
Usually it was Thea and I who helped her pick the dress and do the make-up. However, that day she even charm spoke the boys and told them that she needed their boy logic to look perfect in Noah's eyes. Aiden, Nathan and Finn were mostly playing video games with Addison's brother though.
Addison was 5 feet 5 inches tall. She had straight chocolate brown hair and green eyes that looked formidable. With her friends she was a cheerful, teenage girl. Nevertheless, to the rest of the world she portrayed herself as the dominating one. Though in front of us she acted all sweet the others knew not to cross her path.
