She Will Always Be My Queen!

Chapter 52: It's almost been a year since we last met.

She glanced at Zayn before getting up. Then she went into their bedroom to wash up. Soon, she comes out of the bathroom after 25 minutes dressed in her military uniform as she would be going in a few hours. She dried her hair with a hairdryer before coming out all dressed up. She was truly the image of an enchanting female soldier. So cool yet so beautiful.

Nicole felt anxious but she knew it wasn't that big of an issue as her mother was a very understanding person. She was her only kin left in this world so she knew better than anyone that her mother thinks the best for her. She also loves her mother as much.

" Mom!" She called out as she went towards Violet and hugged her.

" I missed you so much. It's almost been a year since we last met."

Violet smiled before she glanced at Zayn and said," Go and wash up as well. We will have breakfast at some cafe."

" Okay then, I will go wash up. Thank you, Aunty!" Zayn said to her as he went up and strode into the bedroom.

After Zayn was gone, Nicole started speaking as she introduced Zayn to her mother.

" Mom, He is Zayn Walker. A very successful young businessman. I was also thinking about calling you to let you meet him but unexpectedly your here."

Violet put her hand on her daughter's head as she asked," Are you sure that he is the right person for you? Mommy knows that you don't like to socialize with people and mommy also knows that it is not easy for someone to become your husband! He is very successful but success comes with a price. He has many hidden dangers and you could also be targeted!"

Then Violet put her hand on her daughter's cheek as she said," You are the only one for mommy. I cannot lose you, you know?! I have barely been able to keep it up after your father but I can't do that if it comes to you!"

Nicole understood what her mother meant. She rested her head on her mother's lap as she said," I know that, Mommy. Zayn is truly a good person. He has been through everything since he was young. His brother and his fiancee are also very good people. And most importantly... I love him. Mommy, I promise you that he will never let me get hurt and I will also protect myself."

Violet was really shocked. In such a short time, that man can make her daughter say that she loves him without hesitation. It is truly a great thing. But since Nicole loves him that much, of course, she would support her.

Nicole continued," Mom, we went on a trip a few days ago. There, he proposed to me and I agreed. Cuz I also want to marry him. I am really happy right now."

Nicole sometimes calls her mother Mom too. 

Seeing her daughter so happy, Violet smiled. She put Nicole's hair behind her ears as she asked," What did he say to you? I can see that his words have caught your heart."

Nicole smiled helplessly. " Mommy is really amazing! You can tell everything just by looking at me. Well... He said that he likes to wait for me to return home. And he said he wants a military marriage because he doesn't want to ever divorce me."

 " It's good." Violet was happy for her. Then she said.

" Okay then. You arrange the time and we will meet with his family. He has an elder brother right? We will all meet together for dinner and plan your wedding. You can decide with him when we will meet."

" Thank you, mommy! I love you!" Nicole said as she pecked on her mother's cheeks. 

" Then I will arrange for a meeting when I get my next holiday. Mommy, where are you staying? Why don't you stay on the ship?"

" No. I will stay at our home. I am more comfortable there."
