Lisa didn't speak throughout the breakfast as she almost finished the dishes by herself. At first, Alex and Emma also eat but then they stopped and looked at Lisa with love.
Only after finishing all the dishes did Lisa realize that Alex and Emma were staring at her. Lisa suddenly felt embarrassed when she realized how much she eats.
Seeing her blushing with embarrassment, Alex and Emma burst into laughter.
Lisa looked at Alex furiously while still blushing from embarrassment. She couldn't get angry with her mother after all. Seeing her pouting, Alex felt that she is so cute that he fell for her once again. Emma smiled as she looked at them.
After they finished eating food, Lisa wanted to talk about what happened when Emma said.
" Would you like to come home first before we talk? There is something I want to show you. We will also talk there!"
Hearing the word home, Lisa felt something g warm in her heart but when she remembered the person responsible for her disappearance, she hesitated. Emma knew that something was wrong and that Lisa only had some bad memories of the past. Therefore, she said.
" Don't worry! There won't be anyone else other than us!"
Lisa agreed to come with her. Alex drove them to their house. Lisa wore a white suit while she gave Emma a one-piece white dress. Alex was in his usual black suit with a white shirt underneath. His tie was slim and neat. With a watch and black shoes, he went out.
When they entered the premises of her house, Lisa had a familiar and yet unfamiliar feeling. She felt very emotional deep down. She was sitting in the backseat with Emma. As a mother, Emma noticed Lisa's emotions were all haywire. She grabbed Lisa's hand. Lisa looked at her and felt slightly better.
Finally, they stopped in front of a large gate. Alex got out first as he opened the doors for Emma and Lisa. Actually, Arlo was in their house but she called him and told him to go away. Arlo was so shocked to hear her voices after year's that he forget to ask why she said that but he still went away.
As they stood in front of the house, the housekeeper opened the door for them as she was left frozen behind as they went inside the house. Anyone can recognise Lisa as Emma's daughter before they look so similar. Then Emma told the housekeeper to prepare a list of dishes for lunch as she took Lisa's hand and went upstairs. The housekeeper was so shocked to hear Emma's voice for the first time that she was left dumbfounded.
When Lisa saw that Slightly familiar path to that room in her dreams, her heartbeat fastened as she grabbed Emma's hand tighter. Alex silently followed them. As they reached the door of that room, Emma stopped and asked Lisa.
" Dear, do you remember what's in this room?"
Lisa nodded and said.
" Painting! Mom, you are a painter right?" From her memories, Lisa felt that she was more familiar with this room than any other place in this house. Emma smiled emotionally as she said.
" Mommy spent most of the time here with you. You liked paint colours back then and always sneaked in to play."
Lisa's eyes turned red but she kept silent. Emma stood in front of the door as it opened. They entered the room. The room was filled with countless canvases. There was a lot of canvas put aside in a corner like they were nothing while those paintings were worth more than billions. They were all paintings of nature or anything. The paintings put on the stand were 25. They were all covered with clothes and seemed very special. The paintings on the wall were of toys. All the toys in the paintings seemed like the one little girl's likes. There were even paint bottles with some colours spilling out. There was also a beautiful teddy bear and a barbie doll with a doll house behind. The paintings felt too familiar to Lisa as her heart skipped a beat. She turned around and looked at Emma with wide eyes. Emma looked at her lovingly and indicated her to pull the clothes away from the oldest painting to the newest one. Lisa approached the one put behind which was the oldest painting. Her hand's trembles and she grabbed the clothing on the painting. She pulled the white cloth out. What comes into her view was a beautiful painting of a newborn baby covered in white clothes. Lisa could guess who that newborn baby in the painting was. She opened the second one. Again there was a beautiful painting of a baby girl who was dressed in a white frock. It was simple but cute. With barely ear-length hair, that baby looked so cute. Lisa had tears in her eyes as she opened the third one. It was also the picture of the baby who seemed to have grown up more. Her hair was slightly longer and she was dressed in a red frock. It was wine red with a flower on the side of the dress. She looked gorgeous in that dress.
