Chapter 56: I Am Pregnant!

 Lee also had intentions to destroy the Xie family and took back Robin's parent's company but he didn't do so because he still hoped that she will wake up and take her revenge by herself.

As he was in deep thought, Doctor Lucas finally arrived. He quickly checked upon Robin. At first, he was seriously checking on her. Then suddenly, his expression becomes dumbfounded. Then it was like he saw something unbelievable. After checking several times, he finally said to Lee. 

" Boss, I think we need to do a blood test for the lady boss. I can't say anything before I have checked up on it myself.|

Lee's expression was cold as he said,| Okay, I want the reports in an hour."

Lucas gulped nervously as he nodded," Yes, Boss!"

He quickly took the blood from Robin and went to do the check-up on it. While Lee stayed in the room as he had her hand in his hands. He was looking at her worriedly. She had finally woken up from the coma after a long time but unexpectedly, she was living like a corpse. He had waited for so long for her to wake up but after she did, he sometimes thought that maybe she would have been better if she didn't wake up.

After around 50 minutes, Robin woke up. Her long eyes fluttered slightly as she opened her eyes. She stared at the ceiling confusedly before she looked at Lee. Then she saw their hands. Lee also saw that she woke up and quickly asked her if she needed anything. Before she could reply, he brought water for her as he helped her drink it. Then he asked her how she was feeling.

" I am fine." She replied. She also didn't understand why she suddenly fainted. Lee then noticed that she hadn't eaten anything so he said he was going to bring something for her.

Robin felt very hungry when she heard him mention food. She found it strange but didn't think about it too much. She nodded her head. Lee got up and turned around to leave. However, he suddenly stopped and turned around to her. Before she could react, he kissed her on the forehead and said," I will be back soon."

Robin was stunned. Just then, there was a knock on the door. Lee said come in. It was Doctor Lucas. His expression was excited as he hurriedly went inside as soon as he got their permission. He was stunned for a movement seeing that Robin was awake but then he smiled as he said excitedly," Boss, the reports are out."

Lee thought that it would be better if they talked about the reports privately. Therefore, he said," Let's go. We will talk about it." Just as he turned around, Robin grabbed his sleeves. Lee was stunned as he looked at her. 

" You don't need to talk privately. I also want to know what's wrong with me. Anyway, it won't affect me much even if there is really something bad with my body."

Lee felt hurt hearing these words. She said she didn't care even if there is something bad with her body. But if it's true, then he would not know what to do anymore.

Lee didn't know why but he was suddenly very scared to listen to the report. He clenched his fists tightly. Robin noticed it as she grabbed his hand. Lee was stunned and then he clenched her hand as he said to Lucas," Speak!"

Lucas understood that they misunderstood and thought that there was something wrong with her body so he didn't bush around the bush as he said," Congratulations, Lady boss is pregnant!"

Robin and Lee's faces went blank. They were both dumbfounded. Though Lee said that they would make a new family he didn't expect it to be so quickly so he was shocked.

Even after a long time, they didn't come back to their senses. Lucas excused himself as he knew they need time for themselves. After Lucas went out, Robin finally snapped out of her daze. 

She blinked her eyes as tears slowly fall out of them. Then she put her hand over her stomach. An anticipating yet somewhat lonely smile formed on her face while tears were falling out of her eyes. She saw that Lee was still in a daze as she shook him.

Lee was shocked as he replied," Yeah?... " He asked her absent-mindedly. Robin kissed him on his forehead as she stood on her knees on the bed. Then she grabbed his face and said," I am pregnant!" Then a simple smile formed on her face.

Lee was shocked. For the first time since she woke up, he saw her smile. Suddenly, he hugged her. His hand was on her head as he buried his head in her neck. Then he said in a whisper." Thank you! Thank you so much... Thank you... "

Robin rubbed his head as she stayed silent. After a long time, he finally let her go as he said," Wait here, alright?! I will bring you food."

" Hmm," Robin replied.
