Chapter 127: Why Are You Not The King Of Alencica?!

" What?!" 

Alex and Zayn asked in exclamation. Lee smiled at them. 

" Well, I didn't know you were both from the Zar Corporation. Robin also doesn't know that! We stopped watching news of Alencica but then as Sophia and Jack grew up, we needed to move back."

Robin also asked.

" Are you talking about the Zar Corporation who took the world by tall with its greatness?"

" Yeah!"

Robin had a huge smile on her face as she was proud of her brothers. Then she joked.

" Since my brothers are so rich, I should leech off them."

Others smiled at them. Then Alex remembered something and said.
" Oh! I almost forget to tell you the most important thing but first, your sister in law and I haven't married yet. We are going to as soon as we go back. And... "

" And what?!" Robin asked impatiently as he seemed to be saying something important.

" You are going to become an Aunt. Sophia and Jack are going to have a little sibling!"

Robin was shocked. Surprises came one after another without giving them a break. Then she looked at Lisa and asked for confirmation with her eyes. Lisa nodded as she said.

" Yes! You're going to become an Aunt!"

Robin excitedly hugged Lisa as she said.

" Thank you!"

" Why are you thanking me?! We are family and this is not something to thank about!"

" But you gave my brother a family and stayed by his side when he needed you!"

" Stupid! Is that something to thank for?!"

As they were talking, Nicole suddenly said.

" Sister Lisa! Brother Alex! Your child is really lucky! We got his news so we went to the hotel. Then we have to celebrate the news so we came here and then, we met Sister Robin! I think it's all thanks to your child. "

When Nicole said that, everyone noticed that it was really like that. They had just heard the arrival of the new life when they met their long lost Sister. Robin was stunned but she also felt that it wasn't just a simple coincidence. That child brought them together. They may have eventually met but who knew when?

Nicole being a scientist didn't really believe in superstitions. However, she had a strong belief in the God who created her and all known and unknown. She didn't know why she said that and why she believed that but she just had this feeling that it wasn't as simple as a coincidence for these siblings to be separated for so long only to be united with coincidence. It felt like something, some mysterious force was behind it. Maybe it was her sixth sense working up but she believed that it wasn't a coincidence.

" Bhai, your child has given us such a gift even when he or she isn't born! I don't believe in such coincidence. This is really great!"

" Yeah! If it's truly like that, I can't thank my nephew or niece enough! I have been wishing for this movement forever!"

Alex felt warm inside. If his child truly brought Robin to them, he couldn't thank his child enough.

Now, they didn't know if it was true or just a coincidence but later, they know it wasn't just a simple coincidence.

They all sat there and eat the cake. Jack was in Arlo's arms and Sophia in Violet's arms. They were all having fun. Zayn and Nicole were having a happy chat. Lee was looking out for everyone. While Robin called Alex to talk alone.

They went to the back of the restaurant. There was a small cliff there as they sat before it. It was all green with a cold wind blowing. They both had their windbreaker. Alex took his out and put it on his sister. As they sat down, Robin had a serious expression. Alex also didn't joke around.

" Bhai! Tell me honestly what happened when we separated?! Don't lie to me! I can get  Lee to dig out but I want you to tell me! I can see you are happy now and that Zayn also have a stable life! But being the Chairman of Zar corporation, it doesn't come without a price. You have only joined the company a few years ago. I know something must definitely happen while we separated. Tell me!"

" When everything is back to the good old days, why are you asking about it?!" Alex asked while averting his gaze.

Robin was furious yet sad. 

" Then tell me! Why are you not the king of Alencica?! Don't you see all the politics going around in the higher-ups of the government?!"

Alex becomes silent at that.

" Speak Bhai! I am mature enough to know now!"

" How can you ask someone like me to become the King of Alencica?! A king who can't even protect his little siblings!" Alex said with sarcasm in his tone.

Robin was startled. She didn't know her brother thinks so lowly of himself.

" What the hell, Alex?! If not for you, I promise that Zayn and I wouldn't be alive right now! If you didn't lead us in that fire towards the exit, do you think we would have survived?! I wouldn't even be lucky enough to save you both. We all are alive thanks to you!"

Alex didn't say anything.

" Just how long will you keep dying your hair?! Just how long can you wear lenses?! This can't go on forever. We have a D in our names! We are destined to protect the country but if we stay in the shadows, our country will get corrupted from the inside. All this time brother, I never dyed my hair or wore lenses. Yeah! I didn't like the responsibilities as the princess of Alencica but I was never once embarrassed by my blonde hair and blue eyes. Or my AB Negative blood group and the D in my name. Rather, I am proud of it. They are something our parents left for us. Did you forget what daddy used to tell you when you were little? He said that you're the Crown Prince. That you are going to be a king one day and that you will have to protect Alencica one day. How will you protect it from the outside when you are letting it get destroyed from the inside?! Bhai, your marriage with Sister Lisa won't be with the identity of Alex Walker. It will be as Alex D Walker! Sister Lisa is the Queen of Alencica. Your child is going to take her family name. Don't forget your duties because of some unworthy people."

They both become silent. They didn't talk for a long time. Then Alex said.

" Alright. I will listen to you, Sister!" 

Robin smiled lovingly at her brother. Then she rested her head on his shoulder as she felt calm. Seeing their dyed hair and lenses, Robin knew they kept their identity hidden purposefully. She could guess why he did that. She knew Alex very well. He is the type of person to hold responsible for the things he didn't even do. She had spent most of her time with Alex when she was little.

As they were silent, Alex spoke again.

" Robin... Do you want to take revenge on the Xie family?!"

" Hmm?" Robin asked.

" They are held in our dungeon. Do you want to take revenge on them? We haven't killed them yet?!"

Robin closed her eyes as the past repeated in her mind. Those sleepless nights and lifeless eyes lurking to her with her nightmares. After some seconds of silence, she nodded slightly and said yes.
