She Will Always Be My Queen!

Chapter 9: Anthony's family of the scientists.

Nicole didn't know when she fell asleep as she was also tired but she subconsciously hugged him back. Zain's eyebrows eased a little as They both slept soundly.

There was darkness before Zayn's eyes. He was desperately searching for light as he kept shouting,'' Bhai! Didi!''

' Why is it so dark here. Bhai, Didi! are you there? I am scared! I am scared of being alone in this darkness!!'

Zayn suddenly saw a young boy and girl who looked familiar walking in front of him while holding hands.

Zayn shouted at them desperately as he started running towards them,'' Bhai! Didi! (1)"

The young boy and girl halted their steps when they heard his voice. They turned around. The young girl looked at him and then, she smiled sweetly at him as she said,'' Little brother, you have to live on.'' She said very gently and lovingly that could melt the heart of the universe.

Then the young boy beside her also smiled warmly and said,'' Zayn, live on no matter what.''

They said it in a firm voice as if telling him that he is not allowed to die.

Tears fall from his eyes as his little hands rubbed his eyes. He nodded and said,'' Don't leave me alone. I will live. Alright?!'' He was pleading desperately to them. But the boy and girl just smiled lovingly at him from afar before turning around and started walking ahead.

Zayn runs out after them staggeringly as he stretched out his hand to catch them to stop. He panicked as he shouted at their backs,'' Bhai! Didi!'' Their voices kept ringing in his ear continuously.' You have to live on' as it was fading. Their small figures were also fading into the darkness ' Little brother...''

They vanished into the darkness. Zayn fell to the ground as he looked at his hand. ' They were so near, but I still couldn't catch them, I couldn't stop them!' Tears fall on his hand as he was staring at them.

All the pain, sorrow, frustration, anger were coming together. His eyes turned red. A dark Aura spread from him which was scary as he felt his surroundings getting darker and darker.

He looked like how he used to look in his previous life when his brother had just died and he caught that woman who ignited the fire. He felt getting further and further away from his brother and sister.

Zayn felt like loneliness was swallowing him. He felt his darkest self engulfing him. Just as he was gonna burst out, he saw somebody coming near him.

When he looked up, he couldn't saw the face of that person. She had long hair as she looks like a beautiful girl. She didn't say anything as she hugged him.

Zayn was stunned. ' Who is this? How did she come here?' But then, he felt her going away. He grabbed her and pulled her into his embrace as he hugged her tightly. He didn't want to let go of that warmth that she brought. That girl in his arms finally stopped moving. Then she hugged him back.

Zayn becomes relaxed but he still didn't let go of her. The darkness faded and a bright light filled that place.

Zayn opened his eyes slowly. He felt very relaxed and peaceful as he looked down and saw a little petite woman in his arms. She gave him the warmth he felt earlier as she slept soundly.

Zayn held her head and kissed her on her forehead. Then Zayn embraced her and fell into a deep slumber. Now, he wasn't seeing such nightmares anymore. He felt so peaceful for the first time after that fire that he couldn't bear to let go of this warmth.

Three hours later_____

Nicole wakes up. She opened her eyes sleepily and saw a steady muscular warm chest covered in a bandage in front of her. Then she realized she was sleeping in this man's embrace as she looked at his chest dazedly. She felt slightly complicated as she stared at his face. This was the first time for her to be so relaxed around a stranger, what more opposite gender. And though she was unwilling to admit it, she started liking this person even though they had not even talked to each other.

Other than her family, she has never hugged any stranger and now she was sleeping in the embrace of a stranger. It was because she felt different towards him compared to the other people she met. She felt good sleeping in his embrace but she didn't know him. When he looked in so much pain earlier, she didn't like it. She didn't like seeing him in so much pain.

And, He didn't feel like a stranger to her. Now... she really didn't know what to do with him. Nicole couldn't understand why she was feeling like this. She only knew she wants to help him.

She let out a sigh and stopped her thoughts from running wild. Then she remembered that he was injured. She put her hand on his forehead to check his temperature. Zayn was still feverish but he was better than before.

Still, it would be good to be admitted. She thought.

Nicole gently moved his hand away from her waist and get out of the bed. She looked at him before going out to the deck and saw that they were going to reach the neighbouring city in 25 to 30 minutes.

Nicole was a military researcher who spent most of her time inside the lab since she was a little girl because she comes from the Anthony family of scientists who were known for their talents.

Her grandfather was one of the great leaders of the country who was known for the incident when an enemy spread a new virus in their country and her grandfather made an antidote for it. Her family also owns some factories of medicines and they made very effective ones. They served their country from generation.

She doesn't have maternal grandparents and her paternal grandmother died before she was born. Her father was a soldier. He was the chief but he died when he was 30 years old.

Her mother was a very famous psychologist who made a name for herself in the world. Her maternal grandparents died when her mother was 10 years old in a car accident. They were wealthy so they left properties and shares for her mother so she grew up herself.

When her father died, her mother Violet, fell into depression. As she was a psychologist, it was more difficult to cure her than any other patient. Nicole has spent a lot of time with her mother since then.

Finally, after a year, her mother recovered fully. Then she busied herself in work to distract herself from getting into the depression again. Now, she often travels to another country for seminars and to cure patients with high-level illnesses. Her mother only takes cases that are very serve and rare in the field as she found the normal cases too easy.

Whenever she comes back, she spent time with Nicole and visits her in the military. Though it was still dangerous for Nicole to be in the Military as a girl, it was still safer than being on the real battlefields. So her mother let her have her way. After all, she was a grown-up and can look after herself.

Nicole was the Anthony family's precious daughter. She was also the sole heir. She was very talented and god-gifted. She was still young but was one of the main researchers of the army sector. Their business of factory was managed by a hired CEO. No one could betray them because the factory works on the medicine they create. Their factory has a charity foundation in the name of her grandfather.

Their best products were sold to the military though.

Nicole was crazily found in water. She didn't fear water as she liked everything about the water. She was also going to get a dolphin as a pet but she didn't have time for its maintenance as she rarely gets some time to rest. The military research centre was near the sea, so she thought about the idea of getting a ship as a house where she could spend her short vacations. It would save her time travelling and she would also be able to enjoy the sea. As the only heir from one of the most powerful families in the country, this was nothing to her.
There wasn't any danger in travelling on the ship as this area of the sea was connected to a neighbouring state of theirs. It would not take long to reach the other city. So, It was kind of considered a lake. The cities were located in front of each other as many people came here to enjoy riding on the ship.

This was how Zayn saw the ship parked there.
