*Still several weeks earlier*
It was almost one, and I still haven't seen Nathalie, and I'm getting kind of concerned. Usually she's done half of her work by noon, and by now is trying to get back to work.
Walking in to the office I see her still working.
"Nathalie?"
"Yes sir?"
"What are we going to do now? I mean
Emilie's back and we have no need to-"
She cuts me off.
"Stopping now will just look suspicious sir, think about it, Hawkmoth and Mayura disappear at the exact same time Emilie returns?"
She makes a very good point...
"I suppose your right about that, thank you, and shouldn't you be done by now?"
"I'm about halfway done, sir."
"You should take a break, eat something, have something to drink maybe?"
I phrase the order like a question, but I can tell she knows it's an order.
"Perhaps, I have an email that I started and would like to finish before I do that though."
"If you say so, and please don't overwork yourself, Nathalie."
"I'll try."
I leave, going to work on my new line.
*Hours later*
"Good night, sir, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Alright, see you tomorrow, be careful on the way back, it's kind of wet out."
"Don't worry I'll be fine."
But that's the one thing I do, especially since she isn't fully recovered from the peocock miraculous.
*Present time*
Finally reaching the Eiffel tower, I take the elevator up to where my assistant waits........
