Perfectly Problematic Potions

something light and happy, I think....

Adrien's pov

*still several weeks earlier, and after the photo shoot*

"Hey Nathalie?"
"Yes Adrien?"
"Do you think father would mind if we just hung out today?"
"I'm not sure, and why do you want to hang out with me? I would have thought that you would have wanted to hang out with your friends."
I look at him through the mirror.
"Yeah, but you look like you need a break, and besides, I really want to spend some time with you!"
He looks at me with his puppy dog eyes and I know I can't refuse.
"Very well then, I'll let your father know."
"Thank you Nathalie!"
He looks so excited and happy that I smile.
Gabriel just so happens to call almost immediately after I say that, and I answer just as fast.
"Sir? Is something wrong?"
"No not at all, I was wondering when the photo shoot is over."
"Actually we just finished, and Adrien was wondering if he and I could take the rest of today off."
"I see no reason to say no, but I simply ask that you have the files I need to me by seven at the latest."
"I will, I'll see you later, sir."
"See you."
I hang up and look at Adrien.
"What do you want to do today?"
"Well, we could go and get something to eat to begin with."
"I think that's a wonderful idea."

    *Several fun filled hours later*

"I'm glad that mom's not here today, otherwise I'd probably still be at home."
I sigh.
"Yes you probably would."
"Can we go back to the mansion now? I'm tired."
A real smile flickers across my face before it's replaced with the fake one that I'd been using for years.
"Of course we can, you do live there don't you?"
He laughs.
"Yeah!"

         *Back at the mansion*

"Adrien, Nathalie your back!"
"I would hope so, otherwise I'd be very concerned."
Adrien laughs again, and Gabriel just looks shocked, which makes me smirk.
"I do know what sarcasm is, sir."
"I can see that."
I sigh.
"Adrien, don't you have to practice the piano now?"
"Oh, yeah! Thanks for reminding me father!"
And with that he runs to his room.
