A real friend

Luna POV

I had decided to stay with Hisoka after all. After that weird night in the hospital nothing weird happened between us. It was almost like we were truely becoming friends.

I wasn't sure how Hisoka felt about me actually. He was a heartless killer who put on a front to people he wanted to keep around. But I'm not sure that he actually cared about anyone he kept close. But for some reason he seemed to genuinely like me. It gave me hope.

It was also easy for me to be around Hisoka without scaring him off. It was difficult to be around normal people since I was raised by murders. So I was grateful to him.

I was shaken from my thoughts as I was covered from head to toe in water. I slowly looked up to find the culprit was none other than the stupid clown I was just praising in my mind. That jerk.

"Oh dear, it looks like I must have spilled my bucket of water. I didn't get any on you did I" he cooed acting innocent

"You. Are. So. Dead. You lousy piece of crap!!" I screamed running toward him. But before I could reach him he used his bungee gum to grab a fully loaded water gun and just as I was about to get my hands around his stupid neck he drowned me again in water.

"Your water gun I left in the kitchen. Feel free to go get it while I refill mine" he smiled as he walked away.

'That cocky son of a female dog' I thought on my way to the kitchen. 'I'll get him'

After grabbing my water gun I decided to fill up some water balloons too and set a few Bobby traps as well. Then I waited. Not long after Hisoka walked into the kitchen. As he opened the door the bucket of water I had put above it fell and hit him directly on the head. Now that he was completely soaked he threw the bucket off his head giving him a full view of where I was standing.

"Your in for it now my little ace" he smirked. He went to move towards me but slipped on the immense amount of dish soap I had poured out on the ground. He fell flat on his back as I bust out laughing.

"I'm soooo scared" I laughed before running out of the room.

I decided to hide in the closet in the bedroom. I heard his footsteps get closer and closer.

"Let's make a deal little ace, if u can stay hidden from me for more than 10 minutes without leaving the room, you win. If not I win." He said looking around the room.

I smirked mentally accepting the challenge. I used Zetsu to conceal my presence. However, the rooms given out at heavens arena aren't as big as you would think and it definitely did not take Hisoka 10 minutes to find me.

"You know if you keep losing like this, I might just think your trash after all and toss you out" the clown threatened as he finished painting his signature star and tear drop on my face.

"Yea yea whatever" I said grabbing a hand mirror and inspecting his work. "Look I'm like your clone now"

"You wish you could be anywhere near as good as me don't you" he gushed "well maybe one day"

Right as I was about to have a retort something on the TV caught my eye.

"Hey look it's Gon and Killua isn't it!!" I said excited

Hisoka head shot around to look at the TV as we saw the two boys flying by there fights with a single hit.

"They're pretty awesome don't you think" I gushed blushing slightly

"Even more awesome then me" Hisoka questioned glancing mischievously after noticing the blush crossing my face"

"No of course not, who could beat such a scary intense circus worker" I giggled.

Hisoka fake gasped and pretended to sob into the couch but just as I got close he swung around and knocked me clean out with a pillow.

"Owwww" I whined as my head spun around my skull.

"Oh? Are you actually hurt? You really are weak aren't you, if you don't get stronger those Andersons will steal you back in no time" he joked

"Don't joke like that" I glared

"What's the big deal little ace? Still scared of them?" He continued poking me and fake pouting

"Of course I am Hisoka." I said getting serious " I ran away from them for a reason and I...I can't even... I don't want to..." I started but couldn't finish as I started sobbing uncontrollably.

Hisoka look taken aback before he grabbed my arm and lifted me up into his lap. He brushed my tears away and covered us with a blanket.

"Luna I'm sor...well just don't worry about that. No matter what happens I won't let them take you from me. I'll bungee gum you to my side before those creeps ever hurt u again. And you know bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum" he said as I giggled into his chest.

"Promise Hiso-Chan?"

"Of course, so let's get strong together ok?"

"Yea!!"
