Going Home

Luna POV:

My breathing hitched as I felt their presence get closer and closer. Everyone got quiet until finally they were standing there. Right in front of me they stood staring down.

"I believe this is what you asked for" one of the members said pushing me forward toward them.

I was shaking from head to toe. I couldn't imagine what would happen but whatever it is, I know I'd rather to die now and get it over with.

"Tell Chrollo we are even now." Liam said. He was the oldest of all of them and often took control in events like these.

He grabbed me by my shoulder and put on a fake smile before saying "are you ready to go home now Luna?" When I hesitated to answer his grip got more harsh but subtle enough that only him and I could tell.

I opened my mouth to talk but no words came out.

"Your not gonna take her anywhere!" Gon shouted out and I wished he hadn't

Liam looked up at him and his face went back to its natural neural look.

"Do you know her?" He asked

Thankfully Gon got quiet and refused to talk. A troupe member went over to force him but Liam stopped him.

"Lawrence, why don't you find out exactly what Luna has been up to since she left" Liam said looking over at Lawrence

Silently he brought his hand up to his head. It looked like he was just in thought but I had seen him do this over a hundred time. He was using his nen to access the information. After a while he spoke.

" it appears they care for her. But not just the two children" he said before looking over to the corner of the room "the clown does too"

"Kill them" Liam said looking at me. My heart stopped. "Kill them or I will make you slowly torture them to death" he continued

"You won't!" I suddenly blurted out taking everyone by surprise especially the siblings.

"You won't touch a hair on their heads!! They are the only people who have stayed true to me! If you kill them now i will resent you for the rest of my life. It's harder to manipulate hate then it is fear." I screamed hoping to convince them.

Liam seemed to stop and think for a moment before chuckling.

"Haven't you grown quite a bit. Aren't you 10 years old now? How much we've missed huh" he said faking another smile.

Then Lawrence spoke.

" you say these people have stayed true to you yes?" He asked

"Yes" I said hastily

"Two of the three here promised to not let us take you. Will they be able to stay true?"

"Of course they will!" I screamed before looking over at Hisoka. Killua had promised to protect me from them, but Hisoka promised he would kill me before he let them take me. And right now that is exactly what I am counting on.

"Well let's find out" lily said giggling realizing her twins plan.

Liam walked back over to where I was standing and grabbed me by my hair to yank me out.

"HISOKA!!" I screamed "please you promised!! kill me!! You promised"

I continued yelling this all the way until I couldn't even see the old abandoned building anymore. I kicked my legs and swung my arms but they were futile efforts.

When I first called out to him Hisoka looked at me. He stared me in my eyes before getting up and leaving through the window he was sitting by. Killua and Gon were causing a scene, but with the troupe holding them back there wasn't anything they could do either.

Eventually the siblings got tired of hearing my cries and Liam used his nen on me. He made me replay all the happy memories I had made over and over again in my mind. Because he didn't have emotion he thought this would make me happy, but everytime I relived those happy moments my heart broke a little more. I wouldn't get to cook with aunt Mito ever again. I wouldn't get to have a water gun fight with Hisoka. I wouldn't get to watch Gon and killua bicker at each other. I would never see Leorio or Kurapika again. I thought of the hunter exam. And Illumi and the rest of the Zoldyck family. I thought about my time with everyone.Eventually I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was naked in freezing cold water. Lily was there waiting by my side.

" oh your up! Yay! This will be less boring now" she said smiling

"I can't.. I can't move" I said trying to get up

"Oh that?" She laughed "Liam wanted to start your training right away. It's a drug infused with nen made to paralyze you. While your body fights it we are gonna rotate the freezing cold water and boiling hot water."

" oh" I said. I couldn't help but notice a strange pain in my chest accompanied with a weird empty feeling

"What about the chest pain" I asked

"Hm? You shouldn't be having chest pain" lily said

"Oh" i said "hey lily?"

"What is it?" She said

"Have you ever felt this sad feeling I'm feeling before?" I asked her

"Hmmm? No! You know we were raised to feel nothing silly!" She laughed "but I have read about it. I think what your feeling must be heat break"

"And because you don't feel anything you'll never have to fell heartbreak right?" I asked

"Exactly"

"Please! I want to feel nothing" I said beginning to twitch my fingers and toes "will you teach me how to be numb too? I don't want to feel anything."
