part 30

I woke up back at The Zoldycks house. I was strapped to a bed and in the pitch black. I struggled a bit but of course at an assassins house they would know how to properly tie someone up.

Awhile later Zeno walked into the room.

"Ah your awake. The Anderson's will be coming to get you soon, so you won't be here much longer" he said before grabbing something from a nearby shelf and leaving the room once again.

I closed my eyes preparing to try to sleep to help pass the time when I heard a familiar voice. Killua's voice.

"And if when I come back here she isn't being treated properly don't think you'll get away with it. I'll kill all of you one by one if I have to" I heard him threaten

"So where are you gonna go now" another voice asked who if I'm correct was Silva

"I'm gonna go find Luna" I heard Killua respond

My heart skipped a beat as I waited for someone to inform him that I am just a few rooms away. That he doesn't need to find me I'm right here. But then I heard his steady footsteps as he walked away and no one said anything. I tried to scream for him or make any kind of noise but with the gag I had in covering my mouth it was to no avail. I sat there frustrated until I could no longer feel Killua's presence on the property.

"I bet that made your skin crawl" Illumi said as he walked into the room closing the door behind him.

I rolled my eyes and looked away as Illumi went and sat in a chair nearby. It was silent for a long while before Illumi got up and pulled the gag out of my mouth.

"Let's talk" he said going back to sit down

"Yay" I said sarcastically as I struggled against the rest of my restraints.

"When Hisoka brought you to us he seemed...weak" Illumi started

"And?" I asked annoyed

"I can't imagine you were a threat to him at all. So explain to me how the fight went" he finished

"I don't have to tell you anything. Especially if your gonna keep me tied up like a prisoner." I laughed mockingly

"I could torture it outta you" he said with a monotone voice

"Like I can't handle a little torture. Do you think your torture methods are worse than the Andersons?" I snapped annoyed " I'm not telling you crap! If you wanna know what happened ask your bestie"

"My bestie? Are you talking about Hisoka? Idk where he is. He disappeared after he dropped you off here" Illumi explained

"Hmm sucks for you" I smiled

"Tell me and I'll tell Killua you're here" Illumi said smirking a bit

"Like I'd trust you" I glared

"Get over yourself and tell me" he rolled his eyes

I sat there silently for what seemed like forever glaring daggers at Illumi who sat uncomfortably still waiting. Eventually he got up and left the room leaving me again.

I sighed as he left, contempt at the vanished tension he was causing. The Anderson's would send someone to get me soon. I wondered how they would react. Would they be mad that I lost and put myself in a position to die? Would they be happy that I was fighting and gaining some more experience? Would they care at all?

After I completed my training the Anderson's sat me down and told me about my history. About how my parents were not friends of the family. I was their biological sibling. When I was born my mother died in child birth and shortly after my dad couldn't handle the grief of not having my mother and so he drove me and him off a cliff in an attempt. However I survived. No one knows how but I was rescued and brought back to the Anderson's. They said that the nature of killing was in my blood. They didn't hold any grudge against me for the murder of our parents. In fact the opposite. They believed it made me perfect. A born killing machine.

Knowing the truth made me sick. But after knowing they began to treat me as they treat each other, Less of a prisoner.

A few hours went by until Zeno came to the room. He started unstrapping my restraints and when he was done said " The Anderson's called for your realize your free to go"

"Did they say anything else?" I asked

"No"

I got up from the bed. Said goodbye to Zeno and Illumi and left. I was going to find Killua. I needed to find him! Hopefully it wouldn't be so hard since he was also looking for me. I wondered if he forgave me?
