Luna POV:

On our way to Whale Island, Gon's hometown, he went on and on about Aunt Mito and the villagers and all the fun things to do. I was excited to see where Gon grew up. I wondered how different it was from the places killua and I grew up.

As Gon was leading us through the the village all of a sudden he took off on a dash and started screaming and waving his hands around.

"Aunt Mito! Aunt Mito!" Gon shouted approaching a cute looking house.

Suddenly there was another voice.

"Gon!" The voice shouted out.

All of a sudden out got a bit nervous. I haven't ever been around normal people before. People who don't kill people that is. I slowly stalked up to the house hiding behind killua as he slowly walked up the pavement. His head was down and his hands were in his pockets. He didn't look super excited and I wondered if he was thinking the same thing I was.

When we got to the top of the hill, I noticed a nice looking women with short red hair and a cute long dress.

"And you must be killua!" She said smiling.

"Huh" killua said looking up surprised that she knew his name. I continued to peek around killua hoping she wouldn't see me.

"Oh? And who's that behind you Killua?" The woman said tilting her head to the side to get a better look.

"I'm Luna" I said lowly. I was scared I would scare her off.

"Oh Gon has told me about you too Luna!! I couldn't recognize you though hiding like that. Are you shy?" She smiled. They way she talked and moved. Everything about her was so welcoming.

Killua moved to the side exposing me directly to the woman. I instantly looked down. I felt like if she looked me in my eyes she would find out all my secrets. I started sweating nervously until suddenly there were two long arms around me. I stiffened and surpressed my instinct to attack. I looked up to see it was that woman. She was hugging me.

"There's no need to be afraid of me" she smiled down. When our eyes met I felt so safe and suddenly relaxed.

Once we were inside this woman, who I learned was Gon's Aunt Mito, started nagging Gon about not telling her we were coming in and how she didn't have enough time to prepare. She ordered the boys to go take baths and no more than 10 seconds later they were gone.

I sat awkwardly alone at the table with Gon's great grandmother while Aunt Mito cooked.

"Would you like to cook with me" she asked looking over her shoulder.

"Uhm.. I.. I don't really know how to.. to Uhm.. to cook much" I stuttered. What if that was weird. What if she found out that the reason I didn't know how to cook was because of cooking I spent my time killing. I started to sweat again.

"Oh that no problem" she said grabbing my arm and pulling me over to her. "I can teach you"

Suddenly I was filled with warmth again as Aunt Mito gave me directions and we swiftly cooked together. The whole time Aunt Mito and Gon's grandmother spoke and joked and laughed while I just enjoyed being in such an environment

We finished up cooking about the same time to boys finished up their baths. We all sat down to eat. We all talked and laughed. I was so happy. It was my first family dinner. I looked over and saw Killua grinning from ear to ear as he scarfed down his food. I wondered if this was his first family meal. I smiled lovingly at the scene in front of me. I could only envy Gon that he could have such a nice family and pleasant upbringing.
