Luna POV:

The next morning I met up with Hisoka for our training as usual. I wore a black tight shirt and grey  baggy sweat pants with some  grey sneakers.

When I saw Hisoka he was leaning against a tree playing with cards. He hadn't noticed me yet. I concealed my presence and slowly started to walk around to get behind him. A single wrong step would give away my position. I slowly took out my knife as I crept closer. When I was right behind him I yanked his hair back exposing his neck and then I shoved my blade down. Enough pressure to draw blood but not kill. But no blood came out. In fact the second I shoved my knife down the body collapsed.

"Mmmm~ you must have really thought you got me huh?" I heard a voice say. I looked up to see Hisoka sitting above me on a tree branch. He jumped down and walked over.

"How the heck did you do that." I pouted

"A magician never tell his secrets~" he hummed

"Not even to his partner in crime" I whined

"No" he smiled. "Are you ready to train"

"Of course I am"

"Today I think it's important for you to work on your hatsu. What are you gonna do with your nen?" He asked sitting down.

I sat down too before answering. "Well I want to use my nen to heal people"

"Heal people?" He frowned "how does that help you at all. It certainly won't help you fight and if you get good enough at it you'll just be a target for people"

"If I continue to surround myself with such powerful people then I won't need to fight anyone. I'll just need to keep the people close to be healed. They will protect me as I protect them" I smiled up at him

"But who will protect you against them little ace~" Hisoka said somewhat serious.

"Hisoka I don't want to hurt people anymore. I have my assiassian skills that I used to kill without nen if I desperately need to protect myself, but I don't want to be a weapon for the Andersons anymore. I don't want to be their toy. So if I make a hatsu that only helps they can't use me to hurt people anymore" I said looking him dead in his eyes "if you don't want to help me with this I'll do it on my own"

Hisoka nodded his head as I was talking but as soon as I finished he simply got up and left. Even though I basically gave him permission too it hurt to watch him walk away from me. Almost like I had disappointed him. Like he's ashamed. Like I'm no longer worth his time. Hot tears forced their way down my face no matter how hard I fought them. Eventually I picked myself up off the ground and headed back to my room. I wasn't going to let him make me feel less then just because he didn't approve.

When i got back to the room Hisoka was there. He was sitting at my counter eating a cup of ramen.

"How was your training?" He asked

"Like you care" I scuffed

"I care even more then you know" he said smiling, but something was off. Around his eyes were puffy and his face seemed red.

"Are you ok?" I said glancing around

"I made the ramen just the way you like it!!" He exclaimed

"What are you talking about?" I asked stepping closer

"Who knew.. it really does taste better with soy sauce doesn't it" he laughed

"Soy sauce? SOY SAUCE?! Didn't you say that you were allergic to soy sauce???" I screeched as I rushed over to him. I grabbed the ramen out of his hand and carried him to the couch to lay him down.

"I don't know what to do!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!" I cried as I saw him slowly lose consciousness.

"Are you stupid or something little ace. This is no time for jokes I'm dying." He said grabbing my hand and glaring at me "heal me you idiot!!"

"I'll try.. I'll try my best" I stuttered as I placed my hands on his chest. I slowly concentrated on him. I felt this substance move and even around his body. A saw that slowly the swelling started to go down but the moment I lost focus it all went back to how it was. I put my all into it and finally he sat up and patted my head. My eyes were scrunched in concentration and my tears of fear had dried. The moment I knew he was ok my tiny body collapsed.

He sighed as he picked me up and carried me to the bed. He placed me down and went to get me some water. When he came back he handed me the glass and sighed.

"You saved my life you know" he smiled

"How could you be so reckless" I scolded

"I trusted you" he smiled as he wiped my sweat drenched hair out of my face.

"H-Hisoka.." I said

"Yes my little ace!"

"Gon and Kilkua want me to go with them when they leave here.." I started "I want to but I don't want to leave you"

He looked at me for awhile as we both sat in silence. He continued to stroke my hair until he stopped and smiled.

"So are you saying you want me to come with you all~" he smirked

"No offense but I don't think the boys like you very much" I laughed

"What??! They don't like me?" Hisoka fake sobbed into the blanket as I began laughing

"Well my little ace, feel free to go. I want you to experience everything you dreamed of when you ran away. But if you stay gone too long I'll have to hunt you down. And if I find you, I'll have to punish you for keeping me waiting" he said smiling creepily

"Well then I'll be sure to visit you whenever I get the chance!!" I said

"Also~" he started "if you happen to run into the Andersons be sure to mention me!! Tell them I'm a hugeee fan" he mocked as I rolled my eyes

"Funny" I said glaring "now get out of my room so I can get some proper sleep. And if you want to keep making jokes like that feel free to take the leftover ramen with you" I said grinning to myself.
