Old Friends

Luna POV:

The next day I went out to find Gon and Killua. It didn't take long, they were already on the 150th floor!!

" Gon!! Killua!!" I called out to them as they turned.

"Luna!!" Gon yelled making his way over to me as Killua slowly followed behind

"We didn't expect to find you here." Gon said as he reached me. "Are you on the 150th floor too!!?"

"No I'm actually on the 200th floor right now. Soon I might even get to challenge a floor master!" I exclaimed

"Did my family send you to keep an eye on me" killua glared "because if so just leave. I don't need a babysitter. And just because you found me this time doesn't mean you'll be able to keep up with me"

I thought about what to say carefully. His family must not have been able to tell him what they discovered about me yet. I don't want to lie to him but if I tell him the truth will he and gon be scared of me?

"Uhhh well actually... your family kind of made me leave." I stuttered

"Huh? Why would they do that? Grandpa loved you it's hard to believe he's just get rid of a student of his just like that" killua said. I could tell he was getting more and more suspicious

"Well Silva convinced him to. Something abt family secrets and me not being family" I lied through my teeth.

"So you really aren't spying on me?" He asked again

"Come on Killua, cut her a break. If she is already on the 200th floor she must have gotten here before us right? So she wouldn't have had any way to know we would be here too!" Gon explained

"Whatever" killua finally gave up

After that me and Gon chatted about everything that had happened to them since I left, while Killua pouted.

"Anyway we're just here to train and make money for now, but we are going to meet up with Kurapika and Leorio on September 1st." Gon finished up

"Who?" I said looking confused

"Uhhh Kurapika and Leorio. They took the hunter exam with us remember?"

"Ohhhh yea" I said mentally slapping myself in the face.

"Yea. But I really need to train hard, so that I'll be able to give Hisoka back his pin from the exam when I find him."

"Oh? What do you mean?" I asked

" He said the only way he'd take it back is if I could punch him in the face the way he did to me back during the hunter exam" Gon explained almost like a whine.

'That punk' I thought in my head ' of course he would say something dumb and cocky like that after punching a kid in the face'

"Oh ok so that's why you need to get stronger and why you came here right?" I said

"Exactly!! But what about you Luna why are you here?"

" Money" I answered bluntly

"Why does someone like you need money?" Killua asked from the corner

"What do you mean someone like me?" I glared

"Oh I didn't mean anything bad about it.. I was just like.. you know someone your age..uhh.." killua stuttered as a blush spread across his face. " I just meant doesnt your family have any money? Why don't you go home?" He finally got out as he turned away.

" Oh that? I ran away so I can't go home"

"You ran away?! Why??" Gon said jumping up and coming closer to where I was

"The people I was living with were very controlling so I left" I shrugged. I really didn't want to keep talking about it

"Well how about you come with us!!" Gon exclaimed

"WHAT??" Killua screeched

"Yea she can come with us until she finds out what she wants to do! It'll be the three of us!!" Gon said as his smile got bigger "I mean come on killua she's all alone here"

"Tsk fine" killua said shoving his hands in his pockets and walking away

"What a butt" I muttered referring to Killua

"Who Killua?? No he's great!! He just needs some time to warm up to you is all. But you'll come with us right?"

" I'll think about it!" I said smiling

"Good"

Just then the announcer started calling some numbers and Gon and Killua told me they had to leave for their next fight.

I wasn't sure what I should do. I would love to go with Gon and Killua, but what about Hisoka. I don't want to just leave him. Won't he be alone if I leave. And he was suppose to protect me. What would happen if I was with Gon and Killua and the Andersons found me.

I held my head in my hands as I sludged back up to my room. Luckily Hisoka wasn't there so I went straight to the bedroom and went to sleep.
