Hisoka

Luna POV:

After leaving Killua I wasn't really sure what to do. I definitely didn't want to go back to the Anderson house. I thought about going to find Gon, but if he was with his Dad now I didn't want to bother him. Then I thought of Hisoka. I saw Hisoka a lot when I was forced to work for the Zoldycks. He came around to talk to Illumi a lot. Whenever I saw him he would just look away, so we never got a real chance to talk. But I decided I wanted to go see him.

I tried tracking him down for a few months but I couldn't seem to actually catch up to his current location. He just moved around too much. So I decided to see if Illumi could help me.

"Illumi" I said after walking up behind him

"I'm in the middle of a job if you don't mind" he said calmly before jumping off a room. I sat patiently as I heard the blood curdling screams of Illumi's victims below. When he was done he jumped back up on the roof to join me.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I need to find Hisoka. Do you know where he is?" I asked

"No I don't. Why would you think I would?" He said sitting down in front of me

"I thought y'all were friends" I smiled slightly

"Assassins don't need friends" he glared

"Yea yea yea you've told me sooo many time now. But you two are kind close whether it be for business or something else" I said winking at him but he didn't seem to get what I was suggesting "so anyway can you help me find him?"

"I can call him for you" Illumi said pulling out his phone

"You had his number this whole time! Why wouldn't you have just said that" I said face palming myself

Illumi handed me his phone with Hisoka's contact pulled up. I clicked the number and held the phone to my ear as it rang.

"Hey illu~ what do I owe the pleasure? You never call me first" I heard Hisoka say as he answered the phone

"Ouch! Really he NEVER calls first? Sounds like y'all relationship is kinda one sided" I said smirking at a confused Illumi

"Luna?" Hisoka said sounding serious

"Aw you remember me after all" i joked somewhat serious as well

"Can I help you" he said sounding more like his playful self

"I wanna meet up"

"Aw that is too bad. I don't want to see you" he said and I could tell he was smirking to himself behind the phone

"Why not?" I asked

"I don't have time to babysit you right now"

"Well good for you I want to meet up so I can kill you"

After I said that it got quiet on both ends. I felt the tension between me and Illumi skyrocket as we made eye contact and Hisoka didn't dare say anything either

"What are you scared?" I said breaking the silence.

Suddenly Hisoka hung up and sent an address to illumi's phone which I quickly wrote down.

"Kill him huh?" Illumi said as I handed him his phone back

"Yea, why? Sad your gonna have to find another booty call" I teased and Illumi grimaced

"Your not strong enough to kill him" Illumi said

"Wanna bet?" I smirked

Suddenly my body felt numb. Like I was a puppet. My knees buckled and it felt like I couldn't breath. Illumi walked up to me and leaned in close

"Those Andersons may have pumped you full of power but they can't teach experience. Even with the most deadly hatsu of all time a well experienced child could beat you" Illumi boasted before taking his needle out of my head and leaving me on the roof alone and mad.

Finally I picked myself up and headed to the location. It was a while away so it took almost two whole days but when I got there Hisoka was waiting for me. It was a huge empty area with nothing around us for miles.

"Ahhh my little ace, I was getting worried you weren't gonna show" he teased

"Are you ready or not clown" I huffed angrily

"Just one question first" he said with a less playful attitude "why is it you want to kill me"

"When we first met you told me not all lives are worth a second glance. Let's see which one of us is worth it today"

His smiled shifted from his face as he got ready.

I started the fight as I lunged toward him. I just missed his stomach as he dodged and went in for a counter attack as he kicked at my face. I was able to dodge as well. A series of attacking and diving went on and we fought almost 20 minutes neither of us using our nen.

"My hatsu. Do you remember what it is" I said as we both backed off catching our breath

"Healing" he giggled "are you regretting that now"

"My hatsu is the manipulation of blood and life energy through emotional connection and physical touch" I said smirking

The smirk on his face faltered for a second before replaced with a new one

"I see" he said "please do show me"

I lunged toward him again this time as a distraction. As he went to dodge i latched onto his arm and swing myself over his shoulder to cling onto his back. I went to gain control of this life energy but I couldn't feel anything. It was as if he had no blood or life energy in him at all.

Suddenly he ripped me off his back and threw me to the ground.

"Luna, you wouldn't happen to remember what my hatsu is would you" he grinned down at me

I went to talk but the impact of me hitting the ground had knocked the wind out of me and no words came out

"I guess not. My hatsu is bungee gum. It has the properties Of both rubber and gum you see and I can attach to anything I want. Including myself. I wrapped my bungee gum around my whole body to lessen the blow I feel during your attacks and so you can not make physical contact with me." He smirked "you said it could work through emotional connection right. Go ahead and try"

I grimaced. The emotional connection had to be a two way connection. I had to make him feel me. To make him feel connected to me. I thought. How. He'll kill me I have to find a way!

"Hiso-Chan" I whispered as i felt his grip on me loosen the smallest bit

"Hiso-Chan why didn't you kill me. Why did you let me turn into this" I started crying. My body relaxed under him as it crumpled into a mess of sobbing.

Hisoka seemed to be in thought. He seemed almost sad but I could tell the connection wasn't as strong as I needed it yet.

"I.. I..I" I stuttered out through my sobs "I forgive you Hisoka! I forgive you!!" I screamed

Suddenly I felt it. The slightest bit of control. I felt connected to his life energy. It was small but I could work with this.

Hisoka suddenly fell away from me. He clutched at his chest. I got up and wiped my tears laughing.

"Don't tell me you thought I was serious" I laughed as I saw him grimace in pain. I was draining his life energy. Slowly but surely he was becoming weaker by the second.

"Oh my little ace. You have gotten so strong haven't you. You look just like them when you fight." He said. "But your not as good as them yet are you?"

Suddenly I was pulled forward towards Hisoka and all of a sudden everything was dark again.
