Haikyuu One shots

~ Tanaka Ryunoske ( Cherry Blossoms)~

A chilly breeze caressed (F/n)'s cheek as the faint scent of cherry blossoms wafted through the air. Looking up, the girl watched as a bunch of pink flowery petals rain down on her.

" It's so pretty," she mumbled, a tiny smile plastered on her lips. 

 It is already around the end of March when Tanaka decided to bring his girlfriend to the flower viewing. Per usual, it was quite packed with couples who seemed to be busy doing all sorts of activities such as, taking pictures, boating, eating or simply enjoying the view.

" You got some petals on your hair." 

With his hands shoved in the pockets of his coat, Tanaka stares at the girl, her head full of petals.

" Oh!"

 Feeling the petals that stuck to it, (F/n) gently touched her hair.  She then shook her head side to side, letting a bunch of petals fall down to the ground. Once she was done she took a glance at him, confirming whether or not there are still some left clinging on to her hair.

 "You still got some here."  

The girl could feel his hand gingerly brush through her hair as he plucked out the remaining petals.

" Done." 

The boy shoved his hands back inside the pockets as he adverts his blue-grey eyes.

The corners of (F/n)'s lips stretched into a smirk. She knew that he was just trying put off a ' cool boyfriend ' vibe but deep down, he's feeling quite embarrassed about being so touchy touchy as a couple.

" Thank you my boo." The girl winked at him.

The boy let out an audible gasp, his mouth hanging wide open. It was the first time he heard her call him that so it was quite shocking and embarrassing at the same time.

(F/n) let out a tiny giggle at his reaction.

He's such a dork. 

" C'mon, don't leave that mouth of yours hanging-" She gently lifts his jaw up, closing his mouth in the process- " If you choke on a sakura  petal, I'd have no choice but to do a Heimlich maneuver on you or something." 

He grumbled something under his breath, his cheeks in similar shade of the pink petals.

" Why don't we take a seat over there?" The girl points to the direction of the bench, facing the view of the cherry blossom trees growing in the nearby river, its branches gently swaying against the wind. 

" Sure. "

The two walked over to the bench before taking a seat on it. The scenery was quite breath-taking, it was something that you could only experience during spring. ( F/n) could feel a sense of serenity. Surely, being there with him made her feel safe and contented. 

" Ryu-" The girl turned to face him, tucking a lock of her behind her ear- " I'm wondering why you decided to bring me here, out of all the places you could have chosen." 

" What do mean?" 

She shrugged her shoulders, " I don't know. I just thought that you would bring me somewhere lively?" 

" I-I just thought that you want something..." His voice trailed off then muttered his last word under his breath.

" I just thought you wanted a change of pace from the places we've going to during our dates." He rambled , scratching the back of his head.

(F/n) raised her eyebrows, casting a suspicious glance at the boy. 

" Really?" 

Silence remained between them as the girl persistently stared at him, not satisfied with his answer.
