"Um, (f/n)?"
I snapped back to reality as I felt somebody poke my shoulder.
"Yes?" I asked, giving my attention to the person in front of me. The freckled boy, all ready for his volleyball practice, grinned at me.
"Is it okay to walk home with you after my practice?" He asks.
"It's fine, I have to help with council in decorating the gym so it might end late."
"Good, I'll be going with Tsukki to the volleyball practice now. See you!"
He waved good bye before running to Tsukishima, the tall blonde who's been waiting at the door of the classroom.
"What took you so long?" I heard him ask the boy.
"I'm sorry Tsukki, I just talked to (f/n) about something."
He bashfully scratches the back of his neck, as they walked out of the room.
It was one hectic afternoon. The council had boxes full of decorations that is needed to be sorted out.
"(l/n) - san could you bring that box over here? The one that's opened."
A sempai points to the box beside the table, it's contents full of colorful strings and star-shaped ornaments.
"Okay."
I replied then hefted the box.
I involuntarily sneezed, sending the dust on the box flying in different directions.
I had totally forgot that the boxes came from the stock room and was pretty dusty.
"Are you okay?" Ayu-sempai, asked then took out something out of his pocket.
"Here, a tissue." He hands it over to me once I've placed the box back on the floor.
"Thank you."
I accepted it gratefully then blew my nose.
"Um, I'll give the box to her first."
He awkwardly walks away with the box in his hands.
"Hey, (l/n) can help me in folding these papers?"
"Uh, sure."
I walked over to the other table full of papers. I had to fold a lot of paper cranes since it's going to used for decorations.
The council planned on giving a dreamy touch to the venue since the theme for event revolved around dreams and ambitions. It was organized solely for the third years who'll be graduating soon.
"Hey Ayu, you're good at origami folding why don't you help us here?"
A council member asked, clearly frustrated by the slow working pace of ours.
"Why not?"
He took a seat beside me then started working.
From the sides of my eyes, I saw him skillfully fold the papers. He was at least 3 times faster in folding than all of us, plus the origami he made are all neat and pretty.
"Wow, yours look so neat."
He turned to my direction, slightly abashed by my compliment.
"If you want, I'll teach you a technique."
"Um, okay."
I slowly observed him fold an origami. I noticed that he used his fingernails to straighten the paper after he folds it.
