"HELL YEAH!"

My friend leaps toward the nearest bed, leaving her shoes flying in different directions.

" That mountain hiking tour killed my feet. I'm never gonna go hiking unprepared."

" Well, I agree on that," I dragged my luggage bag inside, my feet aching. "The school even didn't tell us that we'll be hiking up to our hotel."

A sigh of relief escaped from my mouth as I took a seat on the bed adjacent to hers.

As much as I appreciate hiking, I love to sit down as well.

"Have you heard that they allowed boys and girls to room together before?"

" Well, I only heard it from the group girls who have boyfriends gossiping about it."

Taking off my sneakers, I started massaging my sore feet. I've never really paid so much attention to gossips, let alone talking to people.

"Well, those girls are probably upset that they won't be able to room with their boyfriends." Stretching her body, she out a tiny yawn.

" The school decided to stop it after they caught a couple doing-" she lets out some fake coughing noises- " In one of the rooms."

" Well that's-"

Disgusting? Obscene? I don't think I can find an appropriate word for that.

" That's why it's much more strict now. I've heard that they even decided to check the rooms one by one."

" I don't really mind, " I absentmindedly wiggled my toes, " I'm just glad that they  still continued this field trip instead of assigning us projects to work over the weekends."

" I know right!" She sat up, her eyes sparkling. " We could finally have a girl's night over for reals!"

" Plus the company of our classmates and teachers," I added.

" But still-" She shifted her body towards my direction, shaking in excitement- " No study sessions. No projects. Just a complete three-day trip chilling with each other. "

I shrugged my shoulders.

Well, that's one way to put it.

" C'mon, wipe that stress away!"  My friend walked over to my direction, tugging my arm as my brain slowly melts at the thought of being stuck in a crowd.

" But I don't want to be stuck in a crowd of people," I muttered.

" Well, it's just our grade level joining. It's not as if the whole school is joining." Crossing her arms, she pouted at my reply.

"Fine, fine, I'll just enjoy this trip with you, -" I turned to her direction, " Though, I'd prefer to stay away from people."

It was her turn to shrug her shoulders.

" For the time being-" She tugged my arm again- " Let's go to the hot springs!'

*****

" I feel so refreshed!" My friend exclaims as we walked back to our room, wearing the onsen yukatas.

" I agree, I guess it's not that bad to go to a hot springs place."

Raising both of my arms, I stretched my body as I heard a satisfying crack coming from my back.

My back must have been so stiff from staring at my laptop doing our school assignments. I probably looked like a shrimp.

" I'm quite shocked that not a lot of our classmates came to the hot spring."
