"(l/n) - Chan!" A cheery voice called out.

Turning her head to the direction of the voice, her eyes landed on the figure of Oikawa from a near distance, waving his hand. He then jogged to her direction, a bright smile plastered on his face.

The two weren't close, more of acquaintances to be exact. The only reason why he knew her is because she would often help the manager of their team, which is her close friend.

Even though Oikawa is a year older and is usually busy, he would often try to approach the girl. There was never a day of him not at least saying a 'hello' or a 'good morning' to her everytime he sees her in school.

"Oh, hi Oikawa-san." She replied rather weakly.

This is awkward. (F/n) half-expected him to be practicing volleyball in the school gym but here he was, trying to strike up a conversation with her.

"You can just call me Oikawa or sempai."

He chuckled at the thought of (f/n) calling him sempai as he placed his hand on her shoulder.

Being uncomfortable with the sudden physical touch, she gently removed his hand from her shoulder.

"Okay, Oikawa-"

(f/n) paused, unsure of what outcome will unfold if she will say the next word.

"sempai."

A moment of shock passed over him then realization hit him. His eyes sparkled, clearly happy with (f/n) calling her sempai.

"She called me sempai." He giggled to himself.

He's just like a kid, the girl thought as he watched him do a little victory dance.

"Ne, (f/n) where are you heading to?"

"Grocery shopping. You?"

"I'm going to fetch my nephew." He replied, pretty smug about being an uncle.

"That's really nice of you."

His eyes widened upon hearing the complement. She complemented me! A sense of achievement has washed over him and did the victory dance all over again.

There was a sudden force pulling on her sling bag.(f/n) turned her head and saw that her bag has disappeared. Alarmed, she frantically scanned the crowd for the signs of the theif.

"(l/n) - chan?"

Oikawa abruptly stops his dance to question her. He was feeling worried about the expression on her face.

"Someone stole my bag."

She replied, almost too quick for him to hear. Her eyes then landed on the hooded guy nearby, slowly walking away.

"There that's him!" She points to guy then sprinted towards the figure slowly blending in with the crowd.

"Hey! Give me back my bag!"

Upon hearing her yells, the thief broke into a run.

Dammit, he's getting away.

(F/n) was gradually losing hope as she watched the figure slowly getting farther. She squinted her eyes, there was another familiar figure at the distance slowly catching up to the theif.

"Oikawa?"

Damn, how did he manage to run that far?

(F/n) felt her body shake from exhaustion. She then stopped and bent over, trying to catch her breath. Her adrenaline only took her this far, she just hoped that Oikawa has managed to catch up with that guy. He was the only chance of getting back her wallet.
