The bell rang, signaling the end of today's class.

Per usual, I watched my classmates slowly leave the classroom one by one, most likely attending their club activities.

A sigh escaped from my lips. I've been enduring the pain of my cramps the whole day and it seemed to not get any better.

With one hand on my stomach, I silently endured the pain as I stood up from my seat.

Dammit, it's my cleaning duty.

The realization washes over me as I watch my fellow cleaning members start to organize the classroom.

"Hey (l/n), can you give this to a friend of yours?" The class representative hands me over a bunch papers.

"To whom?" I questioned.

"The manager of the boy's volleyball team. "

Oh , I see, another job to do while the cramps are slowly killing me on the inside.

"Sure, I'll hand them to her once I'm done cleaning. "

I watch my classmate say a thank you before walking out of the classroom.

"(F/n)?"

The manager eyes widened upon seeing me approach her inside the gym.

"I thought that you would leave early because of your cramps."

A tiny smile was on my face as I waved the papers, that were handed to me earlier, in front of her face.

"Surprisingly, I wanted to but I had some errands to finish."

I handed the papers over her as she let out a tiny laugh.

"Poor you, it's still your second day right?" She asked without looking up, scaning through the papers.

"Yes, apparently and it's killing me."

"Now that your work is done-" She places her hand on my shoulder. "You can finally eat your bars of chocolate at home."

We both let out a laugh. Whenever we both were on our period, we would buy packets of chocolates and eat them to help ease the pain. It made me feel nostalgic at how long we've been doing that chocolate rule.

As I was about to tell her that I will be leaving, I heard someone from a distance yelling 'watch out!'.

The next thing I knew , I was hit by the ball, not on the head but on the stomach.

I fell on the floor, clutching the part where the ball had its impact as I let out a tiny groan. From the sides of my eyes, I saw a crowd of people rush to my direction.

My friend, the closest one to me, was the first one to reach me. She frantically checked my pulse. A relieved sigh escaped from her lips after knowing that my heart was still beating.

"Is she okay?" I heard one of the members asked.

"I'm pretty sure she's fine, she was lucky that she didn't get hit on the head," The other retorts.

"Lucky my ass," I heard my friend huff. "She's on her frickin period!"

As I watch my friend scold the team, I could hear my heavy breathing as the vision in my eyes turns dark.

When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying on the bed in the clinic.

I sat up slowly, noticing the pain as I moved. Letting out a deep breath, I then checked my watch on my wrist.
