The garage door opened. On the other side is a shiny black Mercedes Benz G Class, Li Jun sitting on the driver’s seat, his eyes flared, and his glare cast a stinging burn on Shin and Lin. The two were caught red handed.

Shin flinched at the sight of his father home so soon. It’s only the middle of the afternoon and he’s not expecting Li Jun to come home.

“Father?!” He pulled away from Lin who is as shocked and also terrified as Shin. She knew they weren’t supposed to be together.

Shin stepped back completely. The bob on his throat and his whitening facial expression were enough signs Shin knew he’s in trouble. He’s not supposed to get caught with her.

Li Jun’s face fumed. He knew he’s bound to catch those two doing what they’re not supposed to sooner or later. And coming home unexpected was the perfect ploy to catch them.

Li Jun’s glare intensified. He can’t recall how many times he told his son to stay away from the girl. He’s not good for you, Shin! Stay away from Lin. But no matter how much he tells his son to stay away over and over again, he just keeps getting closer and closer.

He’s like a broken player getting ignored by Shin. What does a father needs to do to make his son listen?

Li Jun locked gaze with his son, a silent reprimand written all over his face and stepped out of the vehicle.

“You’re home early, father.” Said Shin. “What’re you doing home so early?”

Li Jun didn’t feel the need to explain to his son and took his attention to Lin instead. For the briefest moment, Li Jun’s eyes flicked over to Lin, her face is red as ripe strawberries, proof of their sin. He then brought his fuming gaze back to Shin.

Lin didn’t need to be told to get out of there, taking the opportunity to disappear as soon as both men’s attention is no longer on her. She bolted out of the garage faster than Li Jun could tell her to "leave!"

"You don't have to talk to her like that!" Shin protested instantly. He can understand his father's frustration and the barrage of scoldings about to come his way, but Lin has nothing to do with it. He's the one who lured her there. If anything he should be the only one getting yelled at.

Shin braced himself for a reprimand from his father but Li Jun was tight lip, he didn't yell at Shin, he didn't shout, he simply let out a disappointed breath and stepped off the garage silent as a the danger before the storm.
