Shin could tell Li Jun was in a foul mood as soon as he came home. He skipped coming home the night before and Shin could only sigh in relief having avoided being seen walking in with Lin early in the morning. They've been out all night, stopping for very early breakfast before coming home. Dancing for hours made Shin very - very hungry.

The dark circles in Li Jun's eyes, his wrinkled shirt, and the splatter red dots on his clothes told Shin it's best to keep his distance. He knew enough to stay away on those days when he's truly dangerous. His father never told him exactly what he does for a living and Shin never pried. All he knew is he's a very successful businessman and Shin is set to take over all his fortune in the future. A fortune Shin, perhaps, wanted nothing to do with.

Li Jun ripped off his clothing one by one aggressively, he was upset. He had asked for the gunman to be taken right to him but that piece of shit Li Er decided to take him to the hospital for emergency surgery instead.

He's bleeding to death boss. Plus, bystanders already called the ambulance. There's nothing I could do.

Arrest him maybe?

Now the gunman escaped from the hospital and Li Jun is left with no leads except for the vehicle's plate number, which was stolen, and the riffle's unregistered serial number. The assassin was a professional alright. He left no traces that could make him a suspect.

"Find out who the driver is!" He snarled to Li Er. The motherfucker can't even do his job right. No wonder he couldn't get promoted as a police officer.

He strode to his large bathroom, turning the water on. He had not asked for Bing to help him prepare his bath water or help him with his dirty clothing. He hadn't asked her since he started a relationship with Lin. Lin did all that for him.

A thought of hiring an escort to relieve his stress for the night slipped into his mind. He hadn't done anything like that since Lin and him became romantic, but decided not to act upon it. It's too soon, and the thought of hurting her put a heavy weight on him.

Li Jun needed to calm his nerves and the only thing that could help him right now is alcohol. Lots and lots of it.

So he went to pour him some scotch from the private bar in his bedroom and made his way to relax in the hot tub.
