"Why, hello everyone!" Moody said, as he tumbled into the room. No one responded. "Very talkative this afternoon, I see. Well, I'm going to be talking about dark creatures today, so everyone listen closely."

Ironically, at that moment I zoned out. I just couldn't keep my mind off Cedric. "Yeah, absolutely! As long as y/n wants to, of course." The way he spoke, the way the words fell out of his mouth, the way everything he did was so effortlessly perfect.

The Triwizard Tournament is coming up, and Cedric wants to put his name in the goblet. I want him to be safe, but I want him to put it in if that's what he really wants. I just don't want to see him get hurt. I thought, while twirling my quill.

"Y/n, can you please repeat to me what I just said about the Basilisk?" Professor Moody asked, storming up to me. I backed away in fear. He wasn't going to hurt me, but his appearance was a little frightening.

"Um... no." I replied, quietly.

"Detention!" Moody shouted. I flinched at the loud noise. I huffed, and looked at Olivia.

"Is this class still fun, Olivia?!" I whisper-shouted. Olivia shrugged apologetically, and for the rest of the class I thought about Cedric.

"Alright, class dismissed." Moody said. Me and the rest of the students hopped out of our seats and rushed out of class to our study hall.

"Jenn! Boy, am I glad to see you. Guess what happened in DADA today?" I asked, fuming.

"What?" Jenn replied.

"Moody gave me a bloody detention!" I shouted. Everyone turned to me. "Um, carry on everyone!"

I sat down next to Jenn and then Cedric came up behind me.

"Afternoon, y/n." He smiled.

"Cedric!" I giggled. He sat beside me and took out his textbooks.

"I'll give you two some alone time." Jenn winked at me and walked away. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"So, Cedric, I think I'm going to have to back out on that double date this Saturday..." I said.

"W-what, why?" Cedric asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Well, Jenn said it was a double date. And we're not dating." I replied, holding in a smile. He nodded.

"Well, then y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" Cedric blushed. I jokingly pondered.

"Hmm... okay, yes!" I giggled and pulled him into a loving hug. Jenn clapped from the distance and I covered my face in embarrassment.

"We better head to the Great Hall soon. Today's the day we put names into the goblet." I shuttered.

"Don't worry. I probably won't get picked anyways." Cedric explained. I sighed.

"If you get picked, just, be safe. Promise?" I gave him a weak smile.

"I promise." Cedric replied. He smiled and took my hand.

"Okay, lets get to dinner." I said, and pulled Cedric up. He walked with me into the Great Hall.

Everyone chattered amongst themselves and waited for Dumbledore to brief them about the tournament.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked Cedric.

"Yes. My father would be so proud of me." He replied. I nodded and Cedric got dragged in the entrance hall by his big group of friends. They pushed him into the middle and he put his name into the fiery cup.

Ron waved to him and Cedric smiled back. I sat back down with him and watched the other students place their names in the goblet."I hope you get picked. I'll obviously be worried, but I care about you and I know you want to do this." I smiled and took his hand. He looked at me as if he was going to kiss me but then a professor came in and dismissed everyone.

"I'm going to my dorm to get ready for tonight. I'll meet you in the courtyard?" I asked, walking to the common room.

"Yes, I'll see you then." Cedric smiled. I walked away, and back into my dorm.

"Hey, Jenn!" I exclaimed.

"Oh, hey! Getting ready for tonight?" She asked.

"Yep, what should I wear?" I replied, rummaging through my things.

"Hmm, well, it's definitely cold out, so probably long sleeves and pants." Jenn answered. She walked out of the private bathroom and wore black leggings, a white t-shirt, and a light green zip-up sweater with black converse.

"You look so good!" I cheered and got changed as well. I wore light blue jeans, a tight yellow shirt with a black windbreaker over top, and white converse. We both put on some makeup and rushed down to the courtyard.

"Draco!" Jenn called. She ran into Draco's arms and hugged him tightly. I was surprised to see Draco so happy. As soon as he saw me he got back into his usual Draco self.

"Hi, Draco." I said, trying to be as nice as possible. Jenn gave him a look and he smiled back at me.

"L/n. I mean..." Draco looked at Jenn again. "Hi, y/n."

"I'm excited for tonight. I think we'll have lots of fun." I exclaimed.

"See, Draco, she's nice. And so is Cedric. So, please try and be on your best behavior." Jenn said, holding his hands.

"Only for you." He answered and kissed Jenn. I couldn't help but aw.

Suddenly, I felt hands on my shoulders. I turned around to see Cedric.

"Hey!" I giggled and put my arms around him. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

"Ready to go?" Cedric asked.

"Yep." Everyone replied.
