It was late on a Saturday night. Cedric and I had plans to relax in his dorm alone, for Steve would be out that night. As I made my way towards his dorm, I created scenarios of what we could possibly do. Read together, cuddle, play a game of chess. The options were endless.

I rapped at the door three times, even though we were together, I wanted to give him privacy. There was no answer. I pursed my lips wondering what he could possibly be doing. I knocked again, still no answer. I decided to just open the door, but when I did, I came to a shocking discovery.

"C-Cedric?" I asked, almost inaudibly. He sat upright, and looked at me, his lips puffy, and dark, stained with a maroon shade of lipstick.

"It's not what it looks like!" Cedric exclaimed, as Gabby jumped off his lap. They were making out. He was cheating on me. Gabby was only in a black bra and matching underwear. Cedric was shirtless, his hair messy from Gabby's fingers being tangled in it.

I gulped back tears, and made sure my voice wouldn't be shaky before I spoke up. "Fuck you, Gabby Sullivan! You ruin everything!"

I turned around before I could let myself cry in front of her. I heard Cedric rush off the bed, and attempt to chase after me, but I slammed the door in his face before he could reach me.

Tears streaming down my flushed cheeks, with anger, I collapsed onto my bed in my dorm. Jenn, and Olivia were fast asleep, unable to bother me, nor kick me out. My breathing was staggered, and I felt my throat close up. It was getting harder and harder to breath, as aggressive cries fell from my mouth.

It felt like everything was ending. I lost my boyfriend. I lost my best friends. I had no one.

The world started shaking around me. What was going on?

I took in a deep breath, and sat myself up in the bed. My face was hot, and tears were flowing like a waterfall from my eyes.

"Y/n, my love, are you okay? What happened?" Cedric cooed, rubbing my back. I turned to him, and collapsed into his arms.

"It was a," I let myself try to catch my breath. "a d-dream." It was hard to see Cedric in the dark. I could only make out his worried expression, and caring eyes. He leaned down, and pressed a kiss to my forehead.

"Do you want to tell me what it was about?" He asked, soothingly. This only made me burst into tears once more. He hoisted me up onto his lap, and whispered sweet nothings into my ear, as I caught my breath, and slowed my tears.

"You were- you were kissing her." I croaked. "I lost you. She won."

"Who?" He questioned. A look dawned on his face, when he realized. "Gabby. It was just a dream, darling, just a dream." He hushed, and hugged me, tightly. I sighed, with severe gratitude that he was all mine. "I love you. Only you."

"I love you too." I whispered. Cedric reached to his side table, and grabbed my glass of ice water, handing it to me. I smiled, and took a sip.

"You can go back to sleep now. I promise I'll be right here when you wake up." He said. I nodded, and cuddled back into his arms. Soon, I fell asleep again, but this time I had a good dream. Cedric was at my house, charming my step father, and he was actually treating me like a decent human being. Oh, how I wished for it to be real.

I sat in Potions, beside Olivia and Steve. I took back what I said about it not being awkward with them. Now that Olivia wasn't talking to Steve or I, it was very awkward.

Potions was a class I sort of enjoyed, yet hated at the same time. Brewing potions was so much fun to me, and I loved watching everything come together. Back before all this drama began, Steve, Olivia, and I had a lot of fun in class together.
