I woke up the next morning with pain in my neck and tears crusted into the corners of my eyes. I'd fallen asleep crying in a really awkward position, and woke up with the consequences. After the previous night's event flooded back into my mind, my morning was ruined. And apparently, my relationship with Cedric.

I rolled out of bed and into the washroom to get ready. I put on my uniform, my robes, and put my hair into a ponytail. I finally said good morning to Olivia and Jenn after moping around for ten minutes.

"You look rough." Olivia stated. I scoffed.

"Of course, I look rough, Olivia! I got in a huge fight with my boyfriend, and I don't even know if he's still my boyfriend!" I shouted, then sighed. "Look, I'm sorry I'm always rude, and carry drama around everywhere with me. You guys deserve better."

"No! Y/n, we're here to help you, we care about you. We're your best friends." Jenn explained.

"Thank you, guys. Really." I smiled. They both came over and squished me into a sandwich hug.

I arrived to breakfast and Cedric was back with his friends. It seemed as though all of his friends had gone back to hating me.

"Don't look at him. You can't just give it to him like that." Jenn said, hitting my hand lightly.

"You're right. He's not even looking at me, so- he just looked! What do I do?!" I whisper-shouted into Jenn's ear.

"Glare." She replied. I did, and a perfect idea popped into my head. It would be sure to infuriate Cedric even more than he already was.

"Harry!" I called to the Gryffindor table. Him, Ron, and Hermione turned around. They both nodded, and agreed to let him come over. Harry stood up and sneaked over to my table.

"Hey, y/n." Harry smiled.

"Hi, Harry. Remember how we said we were going to be friends?" I asked.

"Yeah, of course. Why?" Harry questioned.

"Well, as friends, I'd like to talk to you. About Cedric. I just really need a friend right now, and I want to give Jenn and Olivia a break." I explained. God this is a horrible thing to do.

"Yeah, well, I'm available next to all the time, so anytime you want to talk," Harry replied.

"How about in study hall today?" I suggested.

"Okay, I'll meet you at the back aisle of the library." Harry smiled.

"Thank you, Harry." I pulled him into a hug, and he happily, but awkwardly, hugged me back. "Bye." Harry walked back to his table. I turned back over to Jenn and smiled. Her jaw was hanging open. I could feel Cedric looking at you, and I knew that he'd seen me with Harry. I heard murmuring around me and realized that I hadn't just stirred up more drama with Cedric, but with the whole school.

I walked to Herbology alone, hoping to not come across any students. I awkwardly made my way to my spot and stood by Cedric.

"Y/n."

"Cedric."

The class snickered and I huffed to myself. The class began and I couldn't keep my mind from plotting ideas to get back at Cedric.

After my painfully long, and unbearable classes, it was finally study hall. I walked right past my usual table where Cedric was sitting, and didn't even care to acknowledge him. He watch me until I turned the corner and sat down with Harry.

"Hey, Harry." I smiled.

"Hi! What are you studying for?" He replied.

"Just a DADA quiz for next week. But, instead, could we just talk?" I asked.
