"Like... three days ago. Has he not talked to you? He keeps on telling me he wants to. In fact, every time he comes to see me, it's always something that has to do with you." Myrtle exclaimed.

"Really? He acts like he hates me. He hasn't talked to me in weeks." I whispered, looking down.

"Well, I think you're going to have to talk to him at some point." Myrtle giggled, and flew away.

"Y/n... I really need to talk to you." A voice spoke from behind me. Startled, I turned around to see Cedric.

"Long time no see." I spat, sarcastically and turned back around to the wall.

"Please. You told me, I need to choose. My reputation, or you. And I choose you. But believe me, it's not that you're an embarrassment to be around. It's my friends who are. They judge people by they're blood status, how many friends they have, what they look like, but none of that matters to me. I think you're perfect. Just the way you are. The first day of school when we met on the train, I knew I liked you. I'd never met anyone as pure, and down to earth, funny, kind, and incredibly beautiful as you. I never stop thinking about you. And when I try to tell my friends, they say I'm mad and I need to get over you. I tried, but the truth is, I don't want to. Y/n, I really, really like you. I've been acting like a complete ass for not talking to you. I really hope you forgive me." Cedric pleaded, coming close to me.

"You really mean that?" I asked. Cedric took my hands and nodded. I smiled, and pulled him into a tight hug.

"I'm so glad to have you back." I said, as my head rested on his shoulder.

"Me too." He replied. "Well, we'd better get going. We're going to be late for class."

"Yeah. See you later." I said. Cedric kissed me on the cheek and ran to catch up with his friends. I watched him disappear down the hallway and smiled. I sighed and made my way to Herbology.

"Good morning, Ms. l/n." Sprout exclaimed. I smiled and stood beside Cedric.

"Hi." Cedric smiled and squeezed my hand. I looked up at him and smiled back. Sprout cleared her throat to catch my attention.

"Um, sorry." I said.

The class ended and I took my little break. I went to my dorm to pick up my supplies for Potions.

"Hey, how are you?" Jenn asked, coming up behind me.

"I'm great, actually. I have big news. Cedric likes me. We both like each other." I exclaimed, trying to hold in my excitement.

"That's amazing! He talked to you and apologized?" Jenn asked, excitedly.

"Yep! I'm really excited. And with the Yule ball coming up in December, I really hope we go together." I exclaimed.

"Well, I'm sure you will. I'm pretty sure I'm going with Draco. I saw him in Honeydukes putting my favorite chocolate in a heart box. I hope it's for me... considering I'm his girlfriend. What if they're not for me? What if-" Jenn ranted.

"Jenn, relax. They're probably for you, so don't worry. Anyways, we're going to be late for class. So, let's go! I can't afford a detention this week. I'm too busy with Cedric!" I exclaimed rushing out the door. Jenn laughed and followed me to Potions.

"Ms. l/n, Ms. Thomas." Professor Snape mumbled. I sighed and stood with the rest of the students. "Everyone gather around. We're going to learn about a potion called Amortentia this morning. If someone were to give it to you... you'd become infatuated with that person for an amount of time. And it smells like all your favorite things. Would a volunteer like to come up and tell us what it smells like?"

I excitedly raised my hand. Snape nodded and I walked over to the brew. I took a deep breath and sniffed the potion. I smiled.

"It's like... bonfire, clean laundry, and-" I scoffed to myself and turned to Cedric. "and... Cedric's hair."

He blushed. Everyone awed at Cedric and I. And a lot of his friends patted him on the back. Everyone was chattering until Snape got the students' attention.

"That's enough everyone. Now, we can move onto our next potion..."

"Are you sure you want to sit with me?" I asked.

"Of course." Cedric took my hand and lead me into the Great Hall for lunch. Cedric's friends noticed us walking in together and glared at me. Cedric rolled his eyes at them and proceeded to sit with me, Jenn, and Olivia.

"So, how are you guys?" Jenn smiled. I blushed and turned to Cedric.

"Well, better now." I said, looking at Cedric for justification. He nodded and smiled at me. "What about you and Draco? How are you two?" Cedric continued.

"We're great actually. Planning on going to Hogsmeade tonight. Do you guys want to come with us? As a double date?"

"Yeah, absolutely! As long as y/n wants to, of course." Cedric replied.

"Yes, definitely." I chuckled. I ate my lunch, which was chicken noodle soup and toast, with my friends and then went on to my Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

"I love this class. It's so fun." Olivia exclaimed walking to the classroom with me.

"Yeah, kinda, but that new professor, Moody, is kinda... weird. I mean he demonstrated the unforgivable curses, did he not?" I replied.

"Yeah, that did seem a bit off." Olivia answered, before walking into class. I sat down at the front of the classroom waiting to learn.
