Brett paid close attention as the nurses and the doctor checked their boys before Elise showed up with Ray and May. They had asked them to check on them before she would be here so nothing would happen and scare her while she was there. The doctor had checked Aiden, and appearently he seemed to be doing better. They were still worried about infections, but he seemed to be fine for now.

Benjamin appearently was doing a lot better than expected, and Brett couldn't help but to be proud of him for that. Such a small accomplishment really, to survive, but their boys were fighting for their lives and Benjamin was undoubtedly winning this fight.

As the doctors left, they almost walked right into a tiny girl in a pretty dress who was on the way into the room they were coming out of. Luckily, uncle Ray and auntie May was right behind and ready to warn them.

"Hey princess," Eddy grinned at her when she peeked inside. It was only a moment of giggles before Elise shrieked with excitement, running over to daddy to hug him. She kicked her legs with excitement as he picked her up and places kisses all over her face.

Brett was right next to them, but he had seen her more recently than Eddy had so he let them have a moment.

"Shh babygirl, it's just me," Eddy chuckled, giving his little girl a squeeze. "You gotta be quiet so you don't wake your brothers."

"Hey you guys," Ray said with a smile, waving at them from the door as they got inside. Brett caught himself realizing how insanely ungroomed he himself was thanks to Ray's well-groomed appearance.

May stood right by him, an arm wrapped around his waist. It only lasted for a moment until Ray spotted the twins, though and squealed.

"Oh my god, which is which?" Ray asked, immediately going over to look. "Wait, this one's bigger so that's Benjamin, right?"

"Yeah, that's Benjamin and this is Aiden," Brett said proudly, walking over to stand by the incubators as well. "Benjamin's doing really qell, but Aiden still has some more fighting to do. They have said he's got good chances of winning, though."

"That's amazing news," May said softly as she walked over to Ray again, looking down at the tiny babies. It was so beautiful to see how excited Ray was. "How's their birth mother?"

"She's discharged, actually, no problems at all," Brett said with a small smile. Most people didn't ask them that. "She had quite a bit of bleeding, though, but she's good."

"Baba!"
Elise suddenly realized baba was there too, not just daddy and now she wanted hugs from baba too. She held out her small arms towards him, but Brett just gave her a smile back.

"Hi babygirl, one moment, okay?" he said softly, looking down at his youngest son again for a moment as he was moving around a bit. It could almost qualify as stretching, even. He just wanted to make sure he wasn't pulling any tubes out.

"Baba?"
